Dev Log #4 (The Market & Shrine)

The final set of story clues is being rendered as I type this, and it should be finished in time for a release this afternoon (that would be v0.1.5), and along with that, I'll make the previous v0.1.4 version available to the general public.
The reason all of these seemingly small release versions are taking so long is because of asset creation. It just takes time to build all of these things that will be used in the future, and spending time now will save it later. I hope. We'll see.
Anyway, this next location is an expansion on the city center. If you take a left at the statue, there is an open-air market where peddlers can sell their wares. Once money is implemented into the game (which will be the first release after the milestone v0.2), that will be where you purchase items and information, have dates, and accept quests. At the plaza at the end of the market street is an old park and shrine that date back to before the founding of the current Kingdom, where a statue of an unknown god is still maintained by the order of a respectful king.
This shrine is where our journey will end for this release version.

One is your mom. The other is a friend of your parents. The player character isn't notably involved. His role in the story is comic relief and training.
