After some very helpful testing from Hellpwnage, Lyaruil, Krellen, irrimn, martinius, and my lovely wife (who has been coordinating this effort much better than I ever could have), it's more or less finished. Lemme tell you, if it wasn't for these guys, the testing process would have taken a month or more. They found bugs faster than I could squish them, made numerous helpful suggestions, and ended up getting the players a much better version of this update than you would have gotten without them.
That said, here's the log.
Rewind v0.3.1.2 Changelog:
Additions:
- Lani additions include 10 relationship scenes (animated), 1 solo date, and variations on previously existing scenes. New Lani solo scenes are locked behind the first tent upgrade.
- The Marla/Lani polyamorous route is now solidly placed into the game. Marla's plant conversations are the final trigger point.
- Marla/Lani polyamorous content has been added (two scene variations, one group date, and a continuation using previously available content).
- Marla's solo route has been introduced but has no content in this release.
- Threadbare Apparel and Sundries will open on day 150.
- Battle Skills are now animated and functioning properly.
- Training has been expanded: A small training storyline has been added to the beginning of the game, Dad now has a far greater variety of trainings, and Lani is now able to train the player's agility without limit.
- Icons have been added to help inform players of useful events. Current icons are Romance, Training, and Death.
Changes:
- Previous training scenes have been altered to correct some lore problems and allow for expansion.
- Limitations have been added to the training system in the form of 'fatigue'.
- Removed/replaced some out-of-character interactions between Marla and Lani and replaced them with lore-accurate versions (mostly related to Lani's one-partner curse and Marla not respecting reasonable boundaries).
- Removed Bess's night scenes in anticipation of a rewrite of her character in later game versions.
- Various previously repeatable scenes have been made single-view.
Corrections:
- 30% of Temple Dungeon dialogue was blocked by an error in the randomizer. Those conversations are now available.
- Fixed crash occuring when Gods leveled to 11.
- Numerous typos have been corrected.
- Some ancient variables have been removed, others have been deprecated for later removal.
- Extensive changes in backend coding to allow for easier foreign language translations in the future.
- Lani's pajamas no longer clip into her feet when speaking in her bedroom.
Known Issues:
- Some testers have reported that this version only finds some old save files (as opposed to all of them). This has been noted and is reproducible, but I have no idea why it happens to some people and not to others. Moving the old files directly into the 'saves' folder will correct the problem on Mac and PC. Moving the files on Android will also solve the problem, however it's more difficult to find old save files on Android devices. Most users will find them in 'SD:/Android/data/com.rewind.program/files/saves/'. Once they've been located, just move them into the folder where new game saves are located.
- Some exploration information may be reset during initial save loading (this would happen one time, if at all).

I'm currently giving a thorough look over the the new international version (translated into only German for now, but if anyone sees this and wants to translate another language, drop me a message). If this passes scrutiny, new version could be ready in as little as a few hours.

Status update: either I found the issue or RNGesus took pity on me. Eating in camp at night got the scenes to trigger.

Lani's camp scenes (with or without the upgraded tent) seem to only trigger through the guild for me. I joined the guild, got her into the party, and then spent weeks exploring and never got any of them even after I bought a fresh tent and upgraded it from scratch. I don't exactly have the best luck with RNG, but the fact that NONE of the scenes triggered after multiple weeks exploring the orc village in Forest 2 is a little weird even *with* my luck.
