Bobby having some character development ✔️ Bobby's character development making him a villain ✔️ Wait, what?
David B.
I wonder if his trope is related to the aphorism 'it's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for'.
Aberrant Eight
I just realized Lucky wanted Bobby to keep Ramona with him because the ball is bound to her; not only is he getting Bobby's patchwork team on his quest, he'll also get Riley's team and boom just like that 5/7 of the party of promise. That's savvy.

Nicely done, you’ve been setting up Bobby’s conflict with the rest of the group for some time. I’m idly curious as to whether you didn’t get to it yet because you had other things or because you were working it out. Edit: and having ‘Bobby’ be the first word was Smart Writing.
Gorane
He deserves a troupe that makes it possible for him to become a secondary villian and give the cast narrative momentum by defeating him

How would that in anyway excuse him doing this?

I don’t think Bobby has realised he is acting more like the villain who sacrifices others to get what he wants than a background character making dumb decisions.

Btw lost thank you for this update! I have been sick all week and this is a nice diversion!
Stephen McLaughlin
And the best part is if the group calls him out on this he can respond that Riley knows what happened to his wife, triggering his incapacitation
Slightly Morbid
Bobby going full Mr Freeze villain.

Oh no Bobby. Also yeah I really do feel for him and his wife. But man is he going for a fall.
Warren (Stephen) Rose
Good character twist. Also, that was very rude of that character who 'almost stopped watching because of Janet'. I'm assuming they were objecting to her behavior over downtime between films? If you're spying on trapped people, ya get what ya get.
