I guess their win will be to warn the base. They might even send map information and break the hold of the unknown. Ending by sacrificing oneself for truth and the greater good.

Ooh. The camera makes sense as a plot device. Their communication devices don't seem to run out of power, as shown by the one on the skeleton, so it should hopefully have enough battery life. Nice explanation for the Sunken Cradle route. I can't remember how spoilers work in situations where some of the party members have run the storyline before, and some haven't? As a rescue mission / potential sequel, this may be sufficiently different from the original for Antoine to have more leeway in explaining what happened during the first run... Although he might be forced to wait until the movie has started before laying it all out in a "Last Time On..." fashion? Good luck and happy writing.
