But Mrs. Selvig tells Mark's outtie at the end of the episode that her mother was a Catholic and something about the saints saying people needed 8 hours of sleep or something to that effect, so she could just be messing with him to see if he picks up on it.

I just noticed that there's a subtle hint about Cobel in this episode! She says "my mother was an atheist" when chiding Mark. But that raises some spoilery questions. Neat
