Addressing a Grave Violation of Privacy | Personal Follow-Up

All this over a game? A game we’re still determined to release despite the challenges we have faced and are currently facing.
I am truly devastated and disgusted that instead of talking to us directly and asking us questions if they were truly concerned about us or heard a very damning accusation against us, creating hate group chats and servers was the go-to.
I am further livid and nauseous that people believe that JambeeBot’s mental health crisis was a way to avoid the criticism over the delay of SDJ. When in reality, it was because they found out that people that they befriended, vouched for, defended, and were vulnerable with, betrayed that vulnerability, that trust, and that friendship by creating and participating in servers and group chats to mock them, laugh at them, and lie on them.
We made the other day’s announcement because we were informed another contractor’s consent, personal boundaries, and issues were violated, and being used as a weapon to hurt us again. And some of you were curious as to what we meant by this happened AGAIN? The voice behind Jack and Jambee, NaughtyMaus was facing a housing crisis. They publicly asked for help regarding their living situation. The community decided to create false rumors and lies that Maus was not paid and we should donate our entire Kickstarter fund and/ or Patreon funds to help Maus get housing. Maus was rightfully and understandably livid when they found out. Upon learning of the community’s actions, they then had to reveal a very personal traumatic reason for their living situation to dispel the lie that was placed on us. They should’ve never had to do that. Because people should’ve never been speculating on their personal life.
I’ve done everything I can since I took over in June, in an attempt to make up for the failings of previous management, yet lies and misinformation about me, JambeeBot, Maus, and SnaccPop Studios have spread, further damaging the studio’s reputation.
I’m so hurt, disgusted, frustrated, and rightfully angry. I want ALL those involved to take responsibility, not with private apologies but public ones. Admit the lies, the broken trust and confidence, and the harm caused. Let the community see and hear the truth. If people decide to distance themselves from them, that’s a consequence of their actions, just as we face ours. If you decide to unfollow, unsubscribe, or even block us, once again, you have every right to. We respect and honor your decision.
No private apologies will suffice and no one can accept an apology for me on my behalf, except me. Those that they lied to contribute to the belief and stereotype that I, as a Black woman, am angry, stupid, mean, rude, and greedy, they need to come out and publicly admit that they did so and apologize. Those that they lied to contribute to the belief and stereotype that JambeeBot, as a Hispanic non-binary AFAB person, is just angry, mean, emotionally overdramatic, they need to come out and publicly admit that they did so and apologize. If they created or contributed to the lie that Maus was not paid by SnaccPop, they need to come out and publicly admit that they did so and apologize. No making themselves pitiful for sympathy—I, JambeeBot, Maus, and others within the studio are the ones who’ve been wronged.
I want a public acknowledgment and apology of the lies and misinformation spread. Admit your actions, admit that you created and/or participated in hate groups chats/servers, admit that people being vulnerable with you and their personal lives you only saw as tea to be sipped and spilled, and the falsehoods you promoted and allowed to be promoted which led to others in the community believing in and defending your lies and misinformation and then leave this community, space, and us alone.
That’s all I ask.

This just makes me sick to my core, I'm really sorry that you guys have to go through this. It's crazy that people would rather go this harmful route than being understanding. You guys are human not machines the things you are going through is not a joke or topics for others to make fun off or mock. I love what you guys do and you guys should be proud of what you do. The people who are guilty should face some sort of accountability because this sort of behaviour is depraved and it needs to stop. They need to stop bitching around and wagging their mouths online, its not going to get things done and even if things were done they would probably still have issues. People like this are Scum they cant be satisfied. Just focus on yourselves for abit and take sometime to breathe, the people who are really loyal fans will always be patient.

Realizing that someone close to you is disparaging you behind your back can be an incredibly shocking experience. The fact that such a situation occurred in the first place is immensely unfair and definitely not normal. From what I can see in this text, it seems like they’ve moved beyond mere joking to making attacks based on bias and characteristics, verging on personal attacks. Adding to that, there are numerous lies involved… I’ve only recently grown fond of SnaccPop Studio and the games they’ve produced, and I’m filled with sorrow and anger knowing that such an issue arose and escalated. Those bastards have caused significant psychological damage to the studio members, delayed game progress, and possibly increased the fear among the studio members about interacting with fans. From a fan’s perspective, these are critical issues. What concerns me most is the well-being of the studio members. No matter how important games and characters are, they’re not as important as people. Please take good care of yourselves… Stay strong!

This is absolutely unacceptable. I'm getting more and more disappointed and upset with every garbage person that thinks it's ok to treat the sp team the way that they have. I get that it's hard to know who you can trust especially now. I totally get that. But don't forget that you guys still have plenty of people who still have your back, including me. I honestly don't know what to think or say about this whole situation other than to take a step back and give a bit of time for everyone to breathe. I'm not a personal friend for anyone (and I'm sure lots of people can relate with me on this), but it's better to at least try and talk things out with another member to make sure nothing goes out of hand during the conference. To Snaccpop, I don't know what else to say other than this drama is getting out of hand too fast, but I am wiling to help to enter a call to clear things out. I want to hear not just JambeeBot's side, but also yours with as much clarity as possible. Every story has multiple sides, and all of them should be heard.

dear gods I'm so sorry you all are suffering this sort of treatment, none of this is okay. I stepped back from the fandom after getting bit by two faced people with more 'reputation' and mistreatment.. but to see that the rumour spreading and malicious behavior has continued is just horrible. I hope you can get all of this sorted and be able to reinforce what you need to, this is just horrible that people have behaved like this... nothing excuses this behavior from people.
