New Designs Preview (not final)
🕑 Added 2023-12-28 03:40:29 +0000 UTCHello everyone, it's been a while! I wanted to check in, to prove I AM working very hard on new content for all of you. As I said, I will be making a longer form Pirate Tails which will be released next year, and I wanted to give you guys a sneak peak of the new (animation friendly) designs!
I also want to let you all know that a Patreon only Discord will be available shortly, this is so I can post WIPs, progress, doodles more freely and where I can hold live Q&As. The server will be up next week, and it'll be completely optional. The community is small, but I am releasing a teaser soon which can also advertise the server!
When the teaser is released, $25 Patrons will have a drawing at the end, and will have the drawing at the end for every episode/update video! So anyone under that tier, do let me know what drawing you want!
Edit: I want to add, these are not final. I'm just showing my progress of figuring out a balance of the old designs and changes to make it easier to animate. I'll be posting more tweaks overtime

Thank you for that! It took a lot of brain power to simplify the designs while trying to keep the characteristics I like. Though I'm gonna change Marilyn's eyes and tail to look more like the old design I think! I'm still tweakin'

These designs aren't finalized though, I still may tweak them overtime. I just genuinely wanna make the eyes, arms and legs easier for me to move around.

I do see that, actually! I do think the differences are noticeable the more you look at it, specifically the way both of ya draw mouths! In any case at least this is gonna make an inevitable crossover between both of your series easier to work on XD

I'm gonna be a bit blunt here, I've been compared to Alex no matter what I do. Mainly because we're both inspired by the same things. It's kinda like how Dexter's Lab and PPG look similar in spirit, but also different. These designs were something I took a very long time on, and tbh it was really hard to make this decision - the older ones were just too animation-unfriendly. While Alex and I do share similar UPA principles, if you take a look at us side by side you'll see key differences in what we do.

It'll take some time getting used to, ngl. I kinda liked how they looked before, cause now it feels like you're gonna get compared with your boyfriend, unless you want that to be the case? Idk. Either way looking forward to seeing these guys in motion!

I just also want to thank everyone for their incredibly loyal support, every bit you're giving to me is helping me massively with getting this series rolling. Animation takes times, and it's not easy being a one-woman production company, but hopefully as I grow more money can be put into this series and I can finally show you guys the story I've been building for so long!
