I have just joined Patreon due taking this app for granted. Anyway I am now using a VPN to China and then opening POOTUBE and beside the intro add the content plays right through without adds. STILL VERY PAINFULL so please get our APP BACK to normal. ASAP. Cheers Fuddstar

In the Chrome browser uBlock origin is still killing off the ads on YouTube so I would think SmartTube can be fixed :-)

This app has just been ended by Google. You will not get around this. I’ve been curiously watching to see how long it took. The 403 is from server side encryption that will only be unlocked for specific keys that will obviously be rotated frequently so that you can only gain temporary wins by scraping them from official clients. Now the question is… are there enough addicted YouTube viewers that will bend a knee and pay for premium or will people stop watching. If you simply stop watching - creators will jump to other platforms which is the most desirable outcome.

Trying to watch old YouTube is impossible. Just pathetic. Went for a 30 day free trial of premium and shockingly the ST app works fine. Hope we get a working ST while I’m using a free 30 day trial lol
