As for the bird theme, Dana Terrace said in a Reddit AMA after season 1 aired that birds are almost exclusively a Clawthorne thing…

Dell’s cardinal is a yellow North American Cardinal! It’s the same species as the red, but with a genetic mutation that makes the red parts yellow! I’m guessing also a male, since the full body is yellow.

Yellow cardinals aren’t the female ones. They just have a genetic rarity so their feathers don’t absorb the red pigments from their diet 🥰 I’m SO EXCITED you finally noticed! I want to hear YOUR theories on it tbh

No… remember Flapjack had previous owner, possibly a Clawthorne! I would advice to keep in mind what Flapjack “called” Hunter in episode 13 “Caleb”…

I'm not spoiling that one way or another (no idea if you're done the show or not but won't do it here) And while luzbisna Noceda she is basically adopted by eda and multiple people call her edas kid. Also just to add more questions remember that Flapjack was part kf a group of palismans who lost their owners or got abandoned.

Theories, theories everywhere. Rhe bird motif the clawthrornes has is big and was a part of a ton of fan theories as the show was airing weekly. Many assumed flapjack will be luz's familiar for that connection
