It's filler. Which means it's not Canon to the plot. It doesn't move the plot forward. The vast majority of reaction youtubers skip fillers. No one is here for fillers. He didn't skip an episode because he doesn't like it, he skipped it because it's not Canon and filler

I thought it was odd skipping through Mineta’s final exam but it wasn’t a big deal. You just can’t comprehend comedy that isn’t made specifically for you, most people can’t. I became a Patron and saw your lack of commentary and moved on to the next episode. But then just skipping an entire episode because Kenny doesn’t like it is wild. I don’t think it’s that crazy to expect you to react to every episode when people are becoming patrons specifically for that content. It’d be one thing if it was a banned episode or something but Kenny is just too anxious to give the show the time it deserves.

I suppose that makes sense, at the same time deku has typically been pretty good about always being aware of his surroundings, so it just seems odd. And it's not like either one of the women aren't attractive (plus pixie was practically all over him after they got done with the forest fight haha)

Chances are he was so hyperfocused, and that fact was lost on him. That and Mandalay is a reasonable adult authority figure. Plus even Pixiebob was serious in that moment.

I never understood the Pussycats theme. They specialize in Search/Rescue operations, wouldn't dogs or wolves make more sense? Minor complaint, but something that always bothered me.

In reference to the picture of Deku that Tomura has, it's a screenshot from when Deku won the obstacle race in the sports festival. That frame was shown in the episode when he won and it was shown that Tomura was watching the festival and frustrated by Deku's performance. This seems to be when Tomura really started to focus in on Deku as annoying.

I understand if you want to skip the first episode of a season for reaction purposes but I do think there is some merit in watching them for the good character moments, even if it's just in your own time.

I don’t think you should skip the “filler” episodes. Just because it’s not progressing the plot, doesn’t mean it’s a waste of time. I know there are at least a few people other than me who want to see your reactions to these episodes. Season 4 is my favorite season of this show and ep 4x1 is really enjoyable even though it’s another recap episode! Also tbh with the serious and dark crap that goes on in season 5 and 6, I just think you should enjoy the calm before the storm

Is it just me...or is it REALLY odd that deku is so comfortable being almost completely naked (other than a towel) in front of two grown women? (Especially considering how nervous he usually gets just TALKING to ochaco)

The subreddit doesn't list any more, and I don't remember any others off the top of my head. There are post-credits scenes in both episodes 1 and 2, but that's it.

I forgot they changed Kota's relationship with Mandalay in the anime. In the manga I'm pretty sure she's his aunt not his parent's cousin which tbh makes more sense why she'd take him in if she was his aunt and not like a second cousin.

I didn't mind the filler. It had some nice interactions between characters, for example Tenja and Deku. But yeah, the other stuff is a lot of recap.

They are cannon. They just aren't brought up really. But (especially later in the manga) characters from the movies show here and there.

Episode 20 is the setup episode FOR the movie because of when they made it. Canon/timeline wise, it falls between seasons 2 and 3. Hence why I asked if you wanted to watch ep20 after the s2 finale and then the movie so it is in timeline order.

The end of the filler episodes sometimes have crucial information to the story Kenny😂like a conversation between eraser and vlad about changing some things so the villans can’t find them! It’s okay i know its annoying to watch but there are some crucial things you may miss out on

Everything I've seen says it's supposed to be between the finals and the summer camp (so between seasons 2 and 3) but obviously it's up to y'all when to watch, I was just going off the order of the questions posts. (And technically they ARE canon from what I've seen)
