To fully understand infinity/limitless you need to get further and they’ll explain a bit more. But it’s still very confusing the way it’s explained in the anime to be honest 😂

So basically gojo’s infinity slows down any physical object or any cursed energy infinitely, it practically creates an infinite distance between gojo and anything that registers as a threat. So you’d either need infinite speed, or an attack that has no physical form and no cursed energy to bypass it from what I know.

There definitely is nuance in the stronger vs more refined domains. A weaker person who has had a domain expansion longer than a stronger person, may have the more refined domain. Generally, yes, the stronger person usually has the more refined domain, but not always the case.

Fun fact: in episode 2 we see Sukuna sort of figure out gojos technique just after fighting him for a few seconds. Sukuna asks "Is it that hes extremely fast? Not that's not it" Sukuna recognized that he was just moving slower almost immediately.

That beach was the little squid guys domain. I’m mixed on this shows power system. Since you are just born talented or not. You cant really train and make yourself into anything particularly deadly like in naruto or other similar shows in the same way and make an amazing technique. Someone like rock lee would suffer greatly in this kind of world at least based on what we ve seen so far

I think you guys are the only reactors I've seen who have like, right away grasped the mathematics of Gojo's power. Super refreshing! Another way I've seen it described is that you can have 0.9 and add infinite 9's to the end (0.9999...) but still never reach '1' (1 being Gojo). What an OP ability.

i dont think the dub for this has been great so far though. Yuji and Getos voices really dont suit but the acting quality is definitely good. No hate on watching dubbed tho

I think some of that misconception is due to the fact that his fingers are currently considered cursed objects. A lot of people forget that it was only after his death when they couldn't destroy his grave wax that his fingers became cursed objects thus allowing him to transverse time.

It is just easier to understand and follow when you dont have to read subtitles. I think most animes have very good english dubs nowadays. And it is a fact, that personally i enjoy an anime more If i watch it in dub, and this should be the main thing. Why should i watch sub If my enjoyment and understanding will be worse because of it.

They just prefer to watch anime in dub cause it's easier for them to follow. This is my first time hearing the dub for this show, but I actually like it so far.

One thing that should never be doubted in the series is Gojo's statement that he is the strongest. I have various gripes with the story, but I do really love the authors take on a truly overpowered character and what effect that would have on the world around them and the larger story. The villains are tailoring their entire strategy around him and not even to beat, him, just to render him unable to fight.

Just so you guys know, Sukuna is NOT a cursed spirit. It’s one of the biggest misconceptions people have. He was a sorcerer who was such a source of negative emotions that he was called a curse. There’s an ongoing distinction between curses and cursed spirits throughout the show that confuses a lot of people because it is meant to be word play.
