They would have to watch the 4 Akito movies and then the 4th Geass movie *but the 3 movies adapting Season 1 and 2 changed a lot right? so they'd possibly be confused* and then the new series is after that. So minimum is 5 films, possibly 8 cause like Shirley's death is changed and all? I avoided the films for these reasons. But new series does look very cool! for sure. I'd be hype for them to try and get into it and Akito and the new timeline lmao.

The quote could either be italian or latin, but roughly it would translate to "abandon all hope you who enter" which were the words written over the Gates of Hell in Dante's Inferno. Also, if I had to guess about Lelouch's Geass, we've seen with Mao that the final stage of Geass seems to be both eyes permanently active, and with Lelouch himself that the more you use it, the stronger it gets, so perhaps using his Geass on something as powerful and massive as God/the Collective Unconscious of humanity just pushed him to the final stage? That's just my own theory though.

Luluche does NOT command "God" to do anything. All his geass does is get him a metaphorical seat at the table. In the sword of akasha is like being in the castle and his geass gives authority to enter the throne room. From there he REQUESTS (not commands) that God does something. Luluche gave up his place of authority and allowed the collective consciences of humanity to decide for themselves what THEY want. He used his control geass to give control back to humanity. It's a 180 to his normal shenanigans

When the first prince Odysseus mentions finding Nunally, he's referring to when V.V. captured her after S1 and she became the viceroy. I think you're pretty spot on with why Lelouch's Geass evolved there. His world continues to come crashing down, as he learns the mother he loved so much was complicit in the suffering he and his sister experienced. But he doesn't oppose his parents purely out of spite or pettiness. As you said, he's now looking to tomorrow, so that the people he's loved and lost the lives he's taken and sacrificed, can be for a truly gentle world - one based on mutual understanding, instead of one where everyone is forced to be open to one another. His own personal growth, and his desire to uplift others is truly a characteristic of a King. And thus, the power of the King is truly granted to him.
