Yuta was the protagonist of the original JJK one shot that lead to the creation of the serialised manga. The movie JJK Zero adapts the original one shot which takes place 1 year before S1 of JJK. Season 1 makes a bunch of references to JJK Zero which is why it’s important you watch the movie after S1 because the events of the movie become even more important in S2 and as the story progresses

Having been a sub only for a while watching the dub with you guys for the first time I had been slightly disappointed in the dub VAs performances until this episode, it really feels like they've gotten comfortable with their characters and now its really enjoyable.

Just to reiterate JJK 0 is a prequel to season 1. While the first part of season 2 is a prequel even further back than the film.

Yuta has been mentioned a few times already this season (by his last name Okkotsu). You'll learn more about him in the movie JJK0, which I highly recommend watching before starting season 2.

Thanks for answering my question! You’ll learn more about Yuta in the JJK 0 movie that takes place about a year before the start of season one. There’s some debate about whether you should watch it before season 2 or after season 2 ep 5. Personally, I think you get a little bit more out of the movie if you watch the first five episodes of season 2 first but to each their own. And yes, Miwa is the girl with blue hair who took the photo with Gojo!

So now's a good time to inquire, will y'all be watching the movie, "0" after season 1? Like the Mugen train, it's actually a canon movie about actual events from the JJK-verse (and you'll meet yuta, who's only been hinted at so far)

Yuta is in the JJK movie, JJK "0", it came out between seasons 1-2, so I suggest watching it in that order (s1, "0", s2) but completely up to yall. I do think you guys will love him though. Yutas kind of the best.
