I don’t really believed that ford is naive for trusting bill. I think he is arrogant. He believes that he knows better than all the warnings about bill. Bill feed fords already to big ego and that’s how he was tricked.

There are three relevant ciphers in this episode: A passage from the journal shown during the episode (originally written in what's been named the "Author's Symbol" cipher, a cipher created for this show): "IT STARTED WITH BAD DREAMS WHICH BECAME NIGHTMARES. I WAS FOOLISH, I WANTED ANSWERS, I PAINTED THE SYMBOLS, I SAID THE WORDS: WHEN GRAVITY FALLS AND THE EARTH BECOMES SKY FEAR THE BEAST WITH JUST ONE EYE." Notably, that last sentence was what McGucket said in A Tale of Two Stans. There is another point in the episode where we see a passage that simply translates to "BLACK & WHITE", which likely refers to the dreamscape as seen in the season 1 episode "Dreamscapers". During the credits: "A SIMPLE MAN WITH EAGER EARS MAY TRUST THE WHISPERS THAT HE HEARS" After the credits: "IN CIPHER'S GAME HE NEEDS A PAWN BE SURE TO KNOW WHICH SIDE YOU'RE ON"

Hi there! A more correct translation of what Stan says at the beginning of the episode would be: “Do not worry, go, go”, what you said Kenny would translate to Spanish as “No quiero tomar más de tu tiempo, vete, vete”
