Plus You realize that in Japan this same conversation happens with American cartoons right? Like they watch American cartoons in English with Japanese subtitles and say the same things that subtitle anime elitists say about anime here... The English VAs simply don't deliver as good a performance as the originals. The most egregious is when Gojo cracks cursed technique reversal: red the first time vs Jogo. The original is raw AF, Gojo's VA's usual playful demeanor is replaced by a monotoned explanation and a seriousness. Contrasting the English VA delivers the line as if he's an overly enthusiastic science teacher.

Gojo’s type isn’t Miwa he was telling Utahime which student he took a picture with, it’s just cut to look like that as a joke The interesting thing about Todo calling Yuji his best friend, or besto friendo in the original, is that it’s not just the fact that they have the same taste in women it’s that Todo respects Yuji’s abilities. We’ve seen that Todo respects strong fighters, and that he doesn’t respect people who he considers to have bad taste. When he asked Megumi he said it was fine if Megumi was into men so we don’t really know what Todo’s criteria is for good and bad taste just the one example we have for each. We also don’t know how he would respond to someone weak who has what he considers to be good taste

I noticed parts of Remember while Yuji was getting jumped by the Kyoto class and, of course, Todo's theme when he rolled up. Both OSTs just stand out as so powerful.

Clarification on the Juju Stroll - They aren’t saying that Gojo has a thing for Miwa. That would be problematic to say the least. Gojo and Utahime are having a separate conversation and not answering the question (They are talking amongst themselves and aren’t facing the interviewer). He’s probably telling her about the student that asked to take a picture with him. However, the choice to put this scene in the “What’s your type?” montage is still interesting. Even though he’s not saying Miwa (the high schooler) is his type, it could be implying that Gojo’s type is someone “nice and with cool bangs”… or just silly nonsense!
