I don’t think it does but you could watch the blu-ray scenes after you watch the dub. Even if it’s on your own time just to see what you missed. it probably wouldn’t change the reaction or commentary that much to not to watch the blu-ray

I would like to recommend if you have the possibility of doing so you should watch the second season on blue ray. Because of all the MAPPA abuse there are scenes that are rushed on the streaming services but have been cleaned up on the blue ray. Doesn't change anything story wise just visually better. And season 2 is already amazing.

When you get to season 2, you should definitely react to the ending sequence as well as the intro! It’s really important to establishing the setting of the first arc since it’s so short. It’s also so beautiful and fun!

To clarify, megumis sis is currently in a coma (we see the first glimpse about this when he fights sukuna where he mentions she was cursed) which is why she can't communicate. His wanting to exorcise the curse quickly is because it's a 2 week window between when the "signs" start and then the victim is killed. so not knowing when her signs begin because she can't say so, there's no telling when she could be killed. (And since a person that went with her, specifically, has just started seeing the signs...it could mean she's on a timer for becoming a victim now) Oh and of course, thanks for answering my question!
