Pablo Escobar built schools, hospitals, houses, soup kitchens etc. in underdeveloped (read: abandoned by capitalism) neighborhoods. Part of why he had so many supporters. Obviously doesn’t make him a good person but it’s not unfeasible for Titan to do similar things especially since he came from a place of poverty himself.

On the Mummy: Mark buried it in the sand, with the original magic door falling back into place. It's a gag about how insignificant some things are compared to Mark and Nolan. Mark just flies too low, and he completely ends an entire villain plotline.

One major factor in Mark's relationship with Amber is that under better circumstances, he would have a better balance if the old guardians were still around. With the heaviest hitters gone he has to pick up the slack and that is making a job, school and relationships a lot harder.

Its not entirely clear how dishonest Titan was with Mark. The only thing it seems we know for sure is he wasn't honest with his relationship with isotope. I don't blame Titan at all for his actions.

One can argue that Titan did do it for the good. Is the city better with Machine Head in charge or Titan? If Machine Head goes down someone else will take over. It wouldn't remove organize crime. Look at how Titan was hired muscle in the beginning of the episode and how he made it a point not to hurt people and to help. Not saying he's not selfish to somenextent but as he points out, Mark and superheroes of that level don't care about street level stuff.

The great thing about Nolan’s dialogue is that he’s usually doing one very important thing; verbalizing a true feeling while being dishonest about the personal emotional context of his words, for example, “This is going so quickly, I didn’t know it would be this hard.” Which I think is a real sentiment that he is expressing, but actually applies to his agenda, whatever it is, and not what he and Debbie were discussing. And even if you don’t know exactly what his goals are, you feel the dissonance in his dialogue. It’s a great aspect of his characterization and a large part of what makes him an interesting character and mystery instead of someone you simply despise.

It’s because the secret government weapons program that created her installed powerful mental blocks that prevents her from fully using her powers. Like any OP comic characters, she’s purposefully nerfed most of the time so she can dramatically cut loose when the story really calls for it.

Titan is legit great, him cutting a deal with Isotope was super smart and I did not expect that, and clearly neither did Machine Head. It's interesting bc based on what his wife said, it looks like he really did just want to quit initially, but after Machine Head refused to let him go and threatened his family he went full takeover mode. He's a lot like Luke Cage - similar powers, kinda similar ends with this ep and the Luke Cage show ending. Some differences, but there's clearly a line of inspiration there.

I think at this point Mark really doesn’t know the full power he has. I think he’s holding back more subconsciously, he’s hitting them hard but he doesn’t want to kill people. He’s only been at this for a few months so I don’t think he has the control like All Might to dial it up and down very finely, but it’s hard to fully send it. Like when omniman described descending during flight as like letting go and peeing your pants, it’s hard to fully overcome your subconscious.
