Well well well the Anime that got me hooked to you guys is back. Looking forward to this. Also yes this arc is definitely gonna be more chill and relaxed but trust me no matter what the naysayers say it's not filler and this break IS needed.

The logos on there back say "destroy" and some swords have the words "destroyer of demons" on it that's why it says destroy its translating the words on there backs and swords

I agree with you for the most part. I mean I don’t think the season is necessarily bad but episode 1,2,7, and 8 are the only ones I enjoyed 100%

This is the only weak point in the entirety of Demon Slayer. This arc in the manga only covers 8 chapters most of the actual "training" are only a page or more long. The only pieces exposition in this arc are episode 2 and 8. I love Demon Slayer to death but I have to admit this IS the weakest and most boring the show will be with very cheesy writing so please bear through it till episode 8!

some fun va stuff happening this season Giyu is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, who voiced lelouch in code geass. Genya is voiced by Zeno Robinson, who voices Hawks in MHA. Tengen is voiced by Ray Chase, who also voices Sukuna in JJK. Haganezuka (the swordsmith guy who gave tanjiro his sword) is voiced by Robbie daymond, who also voices Megumi in JJK.

The sub worded it similarly. I still took it to mean those who he knows or those align themselves with him, not necessarily those physically around him. Those who symbolically surround him. Almost like a sort of prophecy.

It’s kinda a proximity thing, the manga describes the other marks “appear on others around that person as if in resonance”, no reason to word it like that if it doesn’t have something to do with being near tanjiro It’s safe to say nobody on the other side of the world is going to randomly get the mark because tanjiro did, you gotta somewhat be in his vicinity or something

I didn't take the mark appearing to be a proximity thing. More like, "When it appears on one, it means it's time for it to appear on others." Sort of a "The time is nigh" sort of thing. By the way, the only thing we know about Ubuyashiki and Muzan's relation is that Muzan is "the sole blemish" on Ubuyashiki's family.

The VA who voices Zenitsu is Aleks Le, who is also the voice of the MC in Solo Leveling. The difference in the voices is astonishing lol

The words "KILL" and "DESTROY" are embroidered/ engraved on the Demon Slayers' clothing and swords. Crunchyroll is translating those. That's why it keeps saying that.
