As a little bit of Lore: The Spirit that Geto summoned that asks Toji Fushiguro "Am I pretty" is an extremly widespread Japanese legend about a spirit called "Kuchisake-onna" Basically, she had a plastic surgery that leaves her mouth looking like the Joker, she goes around asking people "Am I pretty" If you say no, she kills you, if you say yes, she takes of her bandages, revealing her slitmouth and asks again. If you say no, she kills you, if you say yes, she will slit your mouth open like hers. The way to escape her is to tell her she looks avarage, because that confuses her.

That, also he did care for Megumi, I mean, he purposefully named him a girl's name to hide him from the Zenin clan, but then once Megumi showed cursed energy he figured he would fair better in the Zenin clan since he wouldn't be ostracized like he was. I believe (I think it was said somewhere? But it could just be a fan theory) he told Gojo about him after he thought of Megs because he realized although they would accept Megs, he'd still have a shitty time in the shitty Zenin clan lol

Fun fact Gojo's english VA said they were having a hard time with the "throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one" and it ended up being what we see in the episode However 😂 apparently "from the earth to the sky, I am that guy" fit the animation perfectly 😂😂 just imagine it was that instead lol

This is how I understand Gojos technique. Is like subtracting space forcing the world to fill it up by attracting mater into it. Red is the opposite, it adds imaginary space repelling matter. Purple is cero, like adding a positive and a negative so space isn’t repelled or attracted so it just gets destroyed. Infinity is like diving his own space from the world

Because I checked this episode in dub before I asked my question and in the site I used it had Toji saying "I named my cursed spirit Megumi" but in the version in this reaction he just said "I named him Megumi"? Although my site was pirated so maybe it was outdated.

Also something that would be noticed in Japan but may be lost in translation: Gojo's statement "On heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one" is believed by Buddhists to be what the Buddha said moments after his birth. Gojo is announcing his rebirth as a god.

It wasn't explained in the episode, but Geto failed to absorb the inventory curse because it was bonded to Toji. Even if a cursed spirit is weak, Geto can't absorb it if it's bonded with someone. As explained in JJK0, the curse's master would need to die before it can be absorbed. Geto learned of this condition when he found/took the inventory curse after Gojo killed Toji. Side note; by absorbing the inventory curse Geto gained ownership of Toji's arsenal of cursed tools (which makes Toji the original owner of Playful Cloud).

Gojo was basically high on cursed energy the whole time. He basically transcended into a new level of sorcery after learning RCT that's why he's feeling euphoric. Also the humans are clapping because Riko died which is why Gojo wants to kill them.

The reason why explaining your power strengthens it is because it is a binding vow they work by giving you a buff by giving your self a disadvantage for instance Nanamis over time is one he has less CE than he should through out the day so that on over time he has a massive influx more than he actually has and for the explain your power it is a disadvantage because they can now know a way to beat your power but in return for that info your power is slightly increased

Thanks for answering my questions!! I feel like it’s important to note that when Gojo is carrying Riko’s body through the star religious group facility, the members are clapping for her death. That’s why Gojo and Geto contemplate killing them all. It definitely has an impact on Geto’s opinion of nonsorcerers at the time.

This was a good episode! One minor thing I want to note since it wasn’t mentioned: when Toji was asked about Megumi a few episodes ago, I think Montana had said that it seemed like he was pretending when he said who is Megumi. Toji genuinely forgot about him 😂

9:50 the reason he starts thinking of Megumi out of nowhere is because in Japanese the word Megumi translates to blessing. So when he says blessing he thinks of Megumi. One of those things that are hard to know if you don’t understand Japanese
