This is definitely my favourite intro so far. My least favourite was the school festival intro. I’ll have to wait till season 8 to see if that changes

i would look at it from the perspective of someone who is japanese where it isnt their native language so it wouldnt sound near as corny to them compared to if they said them in japanese

I agree. A person's arc of change and growth is never night and day. So, while it's apparent that he's trying to change and better his relationship with his son, it's also clear that he's still Endeavor, ya know a bit of a hot head if you will (no pun intended). So, with him being sort of impatient or annoyed at the slow progression of him and Shoto's relationship, while yes from our pov it's fair to be like "wtf he has some nerve to act like this after everything", it also makes sense for his character to feel these things and go through these realizations. If I'm Endeavor and my son is reluctant to a relationship with me, if anything that forces me to do some self-reflecting and rewiring. His approach isn't perfect now, but I think that's kind of a good thing because I wouldn't really expect it to be. I think that makes it a bit more realistic. He still exhibits flaws here and there because at the end of the day this is new for him. Do your flaws or habits disappear the minute you say you wanna turn your life around, no, you gotta work for it, which takes time.

I really like Montanas insights on Endeavor. Though I think she is a lot harsher towards him than the Fandom I think it is important to state that because you have changed to yourself, the actions that have been done can't be taken back even after a cool fight scene. Where I may disagree is that I think that Endeavor, to some extent, is valid in frustration when things aren't going his way. Not in way of he is correct in his thoughts and action, but that change within yourself will come with much growing pains and it is something that he at this point has to learn.

OKAY hot take: i thought merry go round was my least favourite intro for the longest time (esp cause the "HEY BROTHER LISTEN" part fjhdksl), but recently i started listening to the whole song a cpl times and i have to take it back hfjdkhjfds the 2nd half that's not in the intro is so gooddd and it's really grown on me lmao

Looking back on this, Endeavor is EXTREMELY lucky that Shoto is giving him exactly what he wants by interning at his agency. Granted, it's on Shoto's terms, but Shoto could have easily chosen not to be a hero after what Endeavor did to him. And yet Endeavor still tried to complain about it. On a different note though, Hawks finally meeting the students was great to see lol
