To add onto Omni Man at the end, he may or may not see Debbie as a pet, but he does not see Mark that way in the slightest due to him also being a Viltrumite. Their blood is so pure is pretty much perfectly blends with other species to make hybrids that are basically full blood Viltrumite. So he wouldn't see Mark as pet because Mark will live as long as Nolan will.

I would imagine some powers can get a different reaction than the run-of-the-mill superpowers. Being capable of altering matter is probably the type of power that would make an average person worried about what they are capable of, and Eve didn't exactly ease her friend into the situation, and more did the equivalent of pulling her into the pool.

Rip Lance Reddick, phenomenal actor. And as much as I've hated the Samantha's father, it's good to see that her mother, while still making mistakes, is still trying. Trying to convince her husband that Sam is smart and not weird, attempting to comfort Sam when she's distressed etc. And in season 1, Eve said she should at least try to give her mom a call.

That was me, it’s my common refrain for Rex. His origin really changed my opinion of him, I really, really hope we get one of these for his story. It’s directly connected to Eve’s, like it follows from these events. And it also does a great job of explaining why Eve and Rex are even together in the first place. Also it’s very dark. Like if Wolverine was a child soldier dark.

val freaked out because eve told and showed her she can change things on a molecular level and then she took the energy ball and starting taunting her with it. for all val knows eve could’ve accidentally turned her into a different person or thing altogether. i completely understand the response. Edit: please don’t read that in an aggressive tone. i was just giving my opinion on that scene.

Don't forget, it's also a world of super villains. Imagine if when you were that age, your slightly odd, loner friend invited you over and showed you their home-made gun which they then wave around in your face. That reaction would probably be a very response, despite the fact that guns are used by law enforcement.

I actually never watched this before, so it's fun when I get to "react" with y'all. That was definitely such a great episode, and as y'all said definitely helps to add context to her attitude and actions for s1! Maybe unpopular opinion, but from what someone mentioned in a comment to y'all before, I would honestly like one of these for rex! (I believe someone's comment was along the lines of "with what he went through, it's surprising he didn't end up a serial killer")

I'm not sure if this is true, but I believe in the comics, once she gets home and goes in her room, she regrets choosing to remove the government people's memories. I believe she says she could have brought her family back to life, but choose to take revenge instead.
