the only blueray episode that is exponentially better than the original in my opinion is episode 17, maybe if you want to go back after watching that episode and see the blueray version, no spoilers there is so much added that i think both of yall would enjoy it.

i also immediately made the robot mechamaru connection, the nature of their particular stories is a very interesting concept. it's also very possible jjk's creator was a bit inspired by the early invincible comics & created mechamaru's character after reading robots story.

I don't know if its possible but I recommend watching the bluray version of jjk. The digital version had to use dimming and blurring to meet broadcast regulations. There are also some scenes that were added in the bluray that werent ready when first released.

Fun fact: the lyrics of the OP for the Shibuya Incident, "SPECIALZ" by King Gnu, are written from the perspective of the Curses (Sukuna, Mahito, etc.). The lyrics of the ED, "more than words" by Hitsujibungaku, are from Yuji's perspective. Obviously I'd recommend not looking them up right now.
