True but that fight with Toji also was to show that under the right circumstances Gojo could be seriously challenged or taken out. He may be powerful, but he isn't immortal.

Man, i remember thinking this fight sucked when I watched the first time and this is now the second time I'm seeing it. This fight sucks. I completely forgot that Yuji even has this fight at the beginning of the arc lol Good call on the narrator coming in during this episode also. That is what I was referring to when I previously commented that "s2 does a better job of explaining what goes on than s1 did." That narrator is quite handy this season. I do remember thinking the whole "locust facts" out of nowhere was super random when I watched that the first time, but it fits with the way the narrator breaks in throughout the season so it didn't stand out as much to me this time.

You haven't seen anything different in the opener yet. You just didn't really pay attention last time you watched it, which is fine. Frankly, the amount of change in this intro is vastly overstated by most people. I feel like a lot of reactors end up putting a lot of effort looking into a relatively minor visual change that is neat, but not anything that is going to change the feel like you may think.

There was a narrator during the Mechamaru vs Mahito fight. I don't remember if he was present during S1 at all though.

I love how confident they are in gojo😂 man its fun to see people place 100% faith in this man after toji literally ripped him apart, literally a whole arc about how cocky gojo was and how it caused a total mission failure the death of a 15yo girl and her maid and left his best friend shattered and walking down the path of villany, geto knows everything gojo will do, he was his one and only best friend😉

You guys can stay chill with the Shibuya incident intro song. Variations of the intro will come during important aspects. They are almost noticable. If you have repeated watching. Offcourse I can't share when, cause it'll ruin the experience.

I think the intro does a great job of teasing but not spoiling. You can definitely tell there are fights but there’s no way you can guess what’s going on. But if you watch it each time you’ll realize which part was in the previous episode.
