Alastor Spoilers: The reason he looks like a Deer is because he was killed in a hunting accident where a Hunter mistook him for a Deer. Alastor wasn't hunting though. It's been heavily implied he was a serial killer back in the 30s and he was burying one of his victims at the time he was shot. That's also why he has an "X" on his forehead. That's where he was shot.

I strongly believe that Velvette never intended to rally an uprising; she instigated a fight on purpose to find out who killed the exorcist. She acts as obnoxious and inflammatory as possible to get a reaction and then tucks away that data to use against her enemy, all while tricking people into assuming she’s just annoying and unimportant. Not only does that make her a super dangerous and interesting character that I can’t wait to see more of—it ALSO represents her domain SUPER well (Kenny guessed correctly, it is social media but that was confirmed outside the show a long time ago and is never explicitly stated). Great character that wayyyy too many people misunderstand ALSO Carmella Carmine, the top weapons dealer in all of hell, has never killed? It’s strongly implied here that that’s the case, that the Angel was somehow the first being she has killed. Maybe it was just for the sake of the song and you’re supposed to assume she means she meant to keel *angel* blood off of her, but idk I feel like the phrasing makes it sound like she’s been keeping away form spilling any blood whatsoever. So that also puts HER in a super fascinating place imo. So many interesting characters!

Just to help, the way sinners look has alot less to do with their "purpose" or role in hell and more to do with how they died or other aspects of their former lives. Vox seems pretty on-the-nose as the TV-headed dude in control of video-media. But really he's more of a general personification of tech-advacement in the form of a corporate douche. Alastor meanwhile became known as the Radio demon due to things he's done in hell- and while the way he looks and acts feels very fitting of a radio-show-host from the 20s-40s, you may notice his design has alot of curious Deer themes which doesn't have any apparent correlation to the whole radio theme. Guess what I mean is that while alot of the sinners do tie-into their designs, many of them are slightly more multi-faceted than you may think when comparing their personalities vs appearances.

Regarding the question at the end regarding the vees. It's been discussed constantly my opinion is that all three think they are the most important when in actuality they are a very symbiotic relationship. Valentino supplies the people that star in all kinds of productions, Velvette helps make them look amazing as well as handle the social media presence while Vox creates the tech and broadcasts everything. It's kind of like with a film production, Writer, Director and Actors all do different but are all essential for a good production. If only two are great you'll do fine but if all three are working at their best in perfect synch with each other you'll get a movie that people will watch every year for the rest of there life.
