well i mean. Vi said the way you call off the invasion is if we go in together as a surgical 5-man squad rather than invading with the entire force. besides, Vi actually knows the underground so she is on home soil. But its mostly that they prevented an all out war and are going for a strike team with a specific mission

Vi told Caitlyn to call off the invasion. A surgical strike team is meant to avoid the invasion, not be part of it. Vi agreed someone had to go after jinx earlier so makes sense she's agreeing to this. Send 5 people instead of 100

It's a very uncomfortable and skin crawling feeling when seeing small clusters of holes. I think it's related to our old instincts of seeing that pattern on anything diseased or sick and avoiding it. It makes me want to throw up and scratch my skin off. It's horrid.

To be fair to Vi at 21:25: Cait's mother died and got a gilded marble coffin, a statue, and hundreds of mourners dropping rose petals. Vi's parents died and got a dirty gutter and maybe a trash chute or incinerator if they were lucky enough to not just be scooped off the bridge and into the river. To quote Vi herself from early season one: "I had to grow up knowing I'm less than them."

Arcane is definitely a league above in terms of animation but Invincible has some really great animation too. It doesn't have the kind of ridiculous attention to detail that Arcane puts into even the most minor background stuff, but it goes really hard for the most important scenes.

It’s not a mix match framerate thing it’s just Netflix being hard to do that level of quality on my recording laptop. Next time I’ll screen record the episodes on my computer prior without watching it (just turn it on and leave the room) then we’ll watch the good quality local recording on the laptop, worked with the trailer too

Did something happen with the screen capture? I know Arcane is 24p but it looks like it is 15fps. The react to the first season did not have this problem. Mixing/matching different framerates (your camera and the screen recording) can result in a messy playback of one of them.

Their animation and color choices during that sequence was spot on representation of how shock and grief can like, make you be physically present in time, but mentally you aren't processing anything going on around you

As someone who used to play league of legends, it's so interesting seeing the characters kind of turn into how you play them in the game. Like Jayce's hextech hammer is his main weapon, so seeing the buildup and creation of it was so fascinating, and Jinx has always been like a mentally psycho, very unstable killer queen so in S1 seeing her kind of descend into chaos was verrry interesting to witness

Aesthetically, Goth is very heavily Victorian inspired, while emo is much more modern (except where it specifically is inspired by goth). In terms of mood, Goth leans into depression and detachment, while emo, true to the name, leans a lot more into emotion.
