At around 18:50 Montana mentions that Kiwi sounds like she’s reading from a script. While I’m sure the voice actress would probably feel pretty disappointed to hear that lol I think it’s a byproduct of the very deliberate acting choice to have kiwi speak in an emotionless tone. Most characters take over that tone when texting on the phone because the emotional cues from their face’s involuntary movements don’t carry through text. Things like how you can tell someone is smiling just from their voice requires them to have a face, which we’ve seen kiwi literally just doesn’t have.

In one of the newer versions of the tabletop RPG, medical prosthesis cyberware doesn't incur a humanity penalty. If you install an arm that just looks like an arm, no super strength or grenade launcher or anything. But that's only one part of it. Extensive therapy is also needed to address humanity loss that comes from events (like killing an innocent bystander). Cyberpsychosis isn't fully caused by the cyberware; it's more about the person's relationship with it, and how it blurs a person's sense of what they CAN do versus what they SHOULD do, among other things. The more military cyberware you have, the more intrusive thoughts you can have about the consequences (or lack thereof) for using (or abusing) it. There's some physiological stress from having so much plugged in, but the real weakness is fundamentally in the mind.

I have heard someone talking about synthetic organs in the universe of CP2077. They would still be organic but made in a lab. But the problem is that for him, it would cost him an absurd amount of money and, even worse, would diminish his ability to make more money since he wouldn't be able to rely on his implants to do his job. I don't think he would ever go back, even if it was a possibility.

Short is no, When you apply cybernetics you cant just return to being organic. Part CP2077 is the loss of huminaty and getting cybernetics is a pretty on the nose representation of that. and I dont really think that thing david installed has the ability to be disabled givin its function, and how its "sustains" the user.

I’m actually curious so any one who’s is super into cyberpunk lore could tell me, can David even go back if he really REALLY wanted too before the cyber skeleton ? He has so many implants there isn’t much left. I doubt there is just a pile of fresh working flesh parts for him to stitch back into himself. The only possible way I could see him “recovering” is disabling all his implants down to their basic functions, his Sandy would just be his spine, his lungs would respirate at average human levels. Still that’s really just walking to the edge of a cliff and stopping on the precipice not talking any real steps away
