From what i understand, the black rose mage is not Mel's sister by blood. Just by magic, as in they are both mages. The affair child is Mel. The black rose organisation is after mel because she is a mage as well and they want revenge on ambessa. So they call her sister because they are both magic not because they are related. They really didn't explain it properly in the show.

I adore Caitlyn, she's such a well written, complex character. Even while effectively blinded by grief, guilt and vengeance, she still struggles with the sense of morality that's guided her her entire life. Really bums me out to see the lack of empathy and understanding she gets this season - dismissed as entitled and power hungry. I don't think anyone saying they wouldn't have cracked under similar pressure are being completely honest lol. Do people just want boring ass characters that always make the right choice? I don't get it.

In my opinion many characters have crossed the line for me and I feel like it’s really odd that people keep singling out Caitlyn when countless others have done things just as bad and worse than what she does also if you look at her actions in the future as redemption then it will feel odd spoilers if you haven’t finished but she admits herself that she can’t be forgiven and redeemed for what she has done and hopes to learn from them so she doesn’t be a even worse person we see a lot in act 3 and a little here that she feels the pain in the actions she has done even when others don’t want her to feel that way you can definitely still feel mad but a question I am wondering is why are you all still mad at cait when Jayce killed a kid recived no back lash besides the mom trying to have revenge and him being upset about it for 5 minutes or when jinx kills innocents in a enjoyment way for her he’ll I see more silco defenders than cait and he did way worse stuff so why is everyone mad more at Caitlyn ( actually asking I am a bit confused by it)

the hug scene is the most emotionally affected i think i've ever been by a piece of media. I mean good lord the emotional release of seeing them all reunited again after 3 years real time, 6+ years in lore, and SO much happening between is so cathartic. we know these characters so well and i feel so connected to them it's like vander is MY dad.

I'm definitely wanting more explanation on what happened to jayce. Did time flow differently while he was in there? I know there was a time skip, but was it the same for him? Where are the other two? Wtf did it do to his hammer??? (Kinda surprised yall didn't mention that it appeared completely remade) I think we got a hint to the dark side of what jayce saw when you could see the vision flicker to some dark form while he was talking to Salo.

Also wanted to note that despite threatening the worst cells in Stillwater, Caitlyn doesn't seem to ACTUALLY do it, since we see Singed in the same/similar cell he was in again later. She's not fully gone

That's because Caitlyn isn't trying to be redeemed. She acknowledges this herself later. Her thought process isn't "how do I make up for my wrong doings" because she knows can't. Instead, it's "what is the right thing to do in this situation". One of the many qualities that make her a compelling character.

Fun facts (since the whole Warwick being in Season 2 thing is no longer a spoiler for you guys). Warwick being the abomination thing chained up in Singed’s basement, as well as being Vander, was one of the hilariously worst kept secrets for fans of the games. It was so unbelievably obvious to game fans that even the showrunners of Arcane constantly made jokes about it on the press tour. “Why do people think Warwick is in Season 2?? What’s all that about??” 😂 Of course, if you know nothing about the games, it’s a really cool reveal, but I just thought I’d give you the perspective of League (or former) players lmao

The first scene we get with Mel in season 1 is her picking out a puzzle box as a gift for another councilor. Such a nice callback having her solve puzzles here as we know she's extremely good at it.

Dude, the look on Jinx's face as she looks scared in the dark and sees Vi and Vander hugging might be the best facial animation in all of Arcane, which is saying a LOT. You can just see her panicking, thinking, "Please, don't let me have jinxed things again." And then to see that she DIDN'T and see Vi extend the hand to her is just 😙👌🥲
