I’m seeing everyone said Leorio and Kurapika, and I think that’s a good option. But I still think Gon and Killua is a great option since they’re the main characters for most of the series. I think if they do different art for different sessions they could introduce other characters.

The biggest issue is that there aren't many main female characters until much later in the show unless Montana wants to be a villain. I always thought Montana as bisky makes sense but as some have said we won't know who she is for a long time. Kenny could be gon, killua, leorio, or hell make him ging. I did see someone say pokle and ponzu which is funny but they're definitely side characters that aren't necessarily super recognizable for anyone who's just a mild fan of the show.

Oh another one: Ging and Kite That has the advantage that they are portrayed as animal loving and being loved by animals. Including your cats in the artwork would work really well

I feel as if Kenny is the Killua to Montanas Gon, but stylistic wise I definitely agree with Kenny as Leorio and Montana as Kurapika. That being said I need EVERYONE to hear me out.... Kenny as Pokkle and Montana as Ponzu. They're already a big ship of the fandom and he's an outdoorsy kinda guy while shes a nature girly

Montana as Biscuit definitely makes the most sense, but you'll have to be okay with not knowing who Montana is supposed to be for awhile. Kenny as Leorio would probably make the most sense style-wise
