Sludge villain he got saved by all might, he lost against todoroki, first movie it was him AND all might, and in the recent movie nobody saw him against flect, and who cares about flect. So yeah, this is HIS you say run moment

I don't get why they're so psyched with Deku "finally" getting his "You Say Run" moment, considering he's already had like four other instances. Between running to the sludge villain in season one, dueling with Todoroki in season two, fighting alongside All Might in the Two Heroes movie, and defeating Flect Turn in the World Heroes Mission movie, this is not the first time.

I actually think that if Mirio hadn't stepped in, AFO!Shiggy may have succeded with his "break his soine" plan. That's kinda the thing: MHA doesn't _do_ anger powerups. Every single time it happens, it backfires on the heroes. -Tokoyami during the Training camp: He got angry that Shouji got hurt and all it did was make him lose so much control over dark shadow that _he_ hurt Shouji - Iida loses himself in anger and almost immediatly gets taken down by Stain -Deku loses his mind because Bakugo gets stabbed and it takes AFO literal _seconds_ to grab hold of him Dekus real power is his mind. His ingenuity and his versatility. When he loses himslef in anger, he just becomes a fighting machine and, as AFO said. predictable.

This episode just hypes me up so much, I feel like I could go run a marathon right now 🤣 But seriously, this Deku is just absolutely peak. I could watch this fight over and over again all day long. And gearshift is the coolest freaking quirk of all time, especially now that is has been leveled up by One for All.

To add to gearshift coming later...for me I feel like it HAD to be locked until deku could break a certain threshold of mastery with O4A. The super strength ALONE was prone to breaking him. Imagine if he tried to break the SOUND BARRIER before he had the control he has now...there'd probably be nothing left to identify 🤣🤣 Great video yall! As others have said, the season STAYS this amazing for it's remainder!

One of my favorite details is how when this battle began Eraser and Monoma were barely touching hands, but as they grow weary and tense from the battle, the way they touch hands changes. They went from just making contact with the backs of their hands, to full on clutching with all their might. Just a tiny detail showing not only their mindset but their current strength, needing more contact as the time passes

I really wish we got to see Gearshift outside of the big battle because it really is the perfect hero Quirk. Being able to slow people without worrying about inertia means you never have to worry about Gwen Stacy-ing a civilian while trying to save them.

My favorite detail is that one of volume extras made a point to say Deku doesn't know how to drive, so he doesn't even know how a gearshift actually works. He's probably just imagining it based on TV shows or movies.

Best piece of trivia about gearshift is that Deku apparently doesn’t need to do that specific motion with his arm. He just does that for himself lol

I just noticed: Shigaraki mocks Deku about "not taking responsibility" for not being there when he should've been. But, at the end of the episode, Shigaraki does exactly that. He blames the heroes and the arena for not being able to win and does exactly what he mocked Deku about.

Smoke screen was upped like gearshift in a way cuz before smoke screen wasn't able to go as far as deku makes it to be. But over all gearshift maybe the most powerful being the second users. (Adding to what Kenny said with question 2)

Gearshift (the upgraded version, at least) has to be my favorite Quirk. Super speed is one of the two abilities I'd want as a power. I would've liked to have seen a proper speedster student/hero in the series, but I guess they'd be too OP for a lot of previous battles without some kind of limitation (which would explain Gearshift's time limit).

I agree. I love the battle and the soundtrack goes crazy. Kohei Hirota did his thing, but he’s had better cuts. Overall a greatly animated episode, but the last three episodes this season I think go harder with the animation and we get a Nakamura cut on 19 too 🤩

Deku getting the YOU SAY RUN MOMENT ❤️🙌🏻 episode made me emotional the first time I saw it out of pure happiness Tbh though the best animated episode of the season and possibly the whole series is still to come… 7x19 is probably my favorite episode in the whole show 🙌🏻

2 things, one thing I like is that dekus 120% isn’t just a mind set like the 1 million in season 3. Deku has good control but not mastery of the quirks yet at their highest level so he can’t go 100% with just strength or it will still hurt him, he is still at 45 but with the combo of quirks he really is able to outpace the insane base strength of OFA. 2nd thing is while the recaps are still unnecessary i get why they are their, if I remember right, during this time the Olympics were happening and that just completely jumbled the airing schedule

When Kudo, the 2nd One for All user/gearshift owner says Deku is operating at 120 percent beyond his perceived limits, I wonder if he truly means Deku temporarily used OFA at 120% with no drawbacks or the combined power of Fa Jin and Gearshift took Deku's 45% mastery of OFA to 120%
