Seriously, how the heck is Vox Machina in third? Anyone who's been on this channel for a bit knows that that shows is PERFECTLY up their alley?

I nominate apothecary diaries because they would really enjoy it and its not like their typical shonen shows (that everyone complains about seeing too much of) sincet there are several mystery-solving-like episodes + a great dub and Kaiji Tang for one of the main cast

I'm not familiar with the first three shows but... Vox Machina is part of the group that helped put D&D back on the cultural map, Blue Eyes Samurai has the best animation and fight scenes this side of Arcane, and Dragon Prince was a must watch fantasy love letter to the fans of ATLA during the pandemic. All three of those shows are more than good enough.

I think part of it is that for Season 3, a lot of reactors started reacting to TLOVM and it's... a lot. I love the show but I can only watch so many reactions to it. It's like several dozens of reactors viewing it at the same time and a lot of them are good reactors, so I have to pick and choose or I'll just get burned out. One particularly fun group of reactors -- The Normies -- just started doing reactions to Vox starting from season 1 on their Patreon and it's a breath of fresh air. Also, Arcane season 2 came out not too long after Vox season 3, and as much as I love Vox, Arcane commands a lot of attention. It's a fascinating show that pushes the envelope of what's possible in animation, so once reactions started to show up for Arcane, I began watching those and Vox took a backseat.

Please give Helluva Boss a chance. I guarantee by the time you are caught up with it, you will have fallen in love with the characters. And I really want to hear Montanna's thoughts/discection on a certain relationship in the show.

I'm curious about this. I know of some reaction channels that it seems to do very well for them. At least when they reacted to it when season 1 came out and since they always talk about getting a lot of critters on board in their comments and stuff. Could be they're just talking about comment engagement and not other numbers. It's just odd with how big the critter community is. Just checked viewmasters channel and my perception was wrong there looking just at views. Wow. Wonder why that is. Certainly a fanbase for the show.

Love both Vox and Helluva, but I'll be completely honest with you guys, Vox doesnt perform well on Youtube. For any reactor who's touched it. Helluva performs so much better on that platform.

I never really liked mob, and I hate that crunchyroll did the VA so wrong and they changed Mobs VA. The animation was nice, but I didn't care for the story very much

Mob Psycho surprised me by how far ahead it is. I didn't think people would be into it this much, I heard good things about it before, but not to this extent. Even if you add up all the western shows, they don't reach Vinland + Mob Psycho at this point.

Helluva Boss for sure, the music alone it gets it, but at first it seems all silly, haha sex jokes and violence, but it actually gets very deep, even sad later on.

It's doing well. Could be vote splitting ornjust could be the channel attracts a lot of exclusively anime fans. It's a hell of a show that been talked about here for years since before season 1 was out so hopefully it can get tbr timing of a new show and hype around the show.

I watched Helluvaboss because i loved hazbin so much. It's certainly a different type of show. It eventually got it's footing and I'm invested as hell but it's very much an episode of tbe week show, especially early on and takes a while for a theme to really form around the show. The songs also aren't as ingrained in tve story telling as hazbin songs. Still good. Just ore like season 1 of the owlhouse where you can get a bodyswap episode or a sports episode.

Helluva Boss is much more of a comedy with a lot of relationship drama. I think it's pretty good, but that said, Vox Machina all the way! Kinda sucks the western vote is split in 4

I thought it'd win easily. Maybe there's not as much overlap with anime fans as I thought there would be. Or maybe it's because the vote split between Helluva, Blue Eye Samurai and TDP. There's only 2 anime on the list so if you're an anime only you probably just vote one of those two.

Helluva Boss please 🥺 it really explores alot more of the Hazbin universe and it has a super beautiful love story even tho it started weird . And it explores alot of deep messages on classism and capitalism with alot of dark comedy . I PERSONALLY like it a tiiiny little better than Hazbin Hotel and would recommend it to any of my friends !

it’s very hit or miss. sometimes the jokes really don’t land well and there are a few plot holes here and there & some characters aren’t that well written, but overall it is enjoyable and if they liked hazbin hotel i think they’d probably like helluva boss too. i do think there’s better shows in this line up i’d rather see them react to first tho tbh

I think the real question is going be if it's possible for a western show to currently win. Their audience seems to skew towards anime now and mostly because that's what most of the days on the channel are dedicated to i think so you end up with a perpetual cycle. I don't think ots about being fair as they can fun the channel how they want but i do think there's plenty of good Western animation shows that feel like they'll never get to because of the pace and eventually the hype will die down
