He is much stronger than weakened All Might we haven’t seen enough IMO from either to know about prime all might and iron might might be able to win depending on how quickly Kafka can regenerate

It's very different to the music in the show itself, but it does capture a magical sort of vibe. Also, the chorus fits perfectly, that segment is just great. The full version is even better ( watch?v=OIBODIPC_8Y ). If you look at that music video it's also really neat, it's very well done. Yoasobi know what they're doing, their songs are always good. They did a song for Beastars a while back that's SUCH a bop. PS - If you look at the lyrics btw, they're freaking awesome too. They fit neatly into the theory that the entire story is just Frieren or someone else telling it thousands of years later as if it was a fairy tale.

When number 9 was shown in the restroom listening to the news report at the end of episode 4, right before he receives the phone call the report mentions number 8. That’s where number 9 first hears about number 8

It's also a unique way to introduce the main villain, with him being genuinely threatened by Kafka and acknowledging as such. Usually, anime big bads start out as feeling above the main hero and grow over time to (albeit begrudgingly) respect the protagonist's strength. But Kafka's already SO strong from the jump that No. 9 can't help but acknowledge it.

Kaiju No. 9's nonchalance to his head getting knocked off is humorous, but also interesting from a character standpoint. I think Kenny's right; he does seem the scientist type.

I was pleasantly surprised by Iharu this episode. I ,too, thought he was gonna be another (early season) Bakugo, but he proved to be a REAL one right off the bat.
