When we first see Himmel pass away we didn’t know him well. But the more we watched, the more we knew him, the more we mourned him. Almost like we are Frieren. What are your thoughts on how amazingly this was portrayed?

Two part question: after saying goodbye to their fellow exam takers, Frieren explains the reasoning of her casual goodbyes, in that making a big deal of it would make it feel awkward when they saw each other again. Does this recontextualize the nonchalant way Sein parted ways with the group before the exam? Also, how does this change your views on the way Frieren left things with Himmel before he died and how they're reunion may play out when Frieren finally reaches heaven?
