I like to compare HxH story to a D&D campaign, and I think it's safe to call the Hunter Exam arc the level 1-3 adventure. Great fun in the moment but it ends up being rather different from everything else and it sort of retroactively feels a little less interesting and more like a prologue to the "real" story.

Honestly, I just want them to check out more Netflix anime. They started with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but other shows like Violet Evergarden and Castlevania are some of the most visually impressive and appealing series they will ever see, on top of having good stories. Point is, I feel like Mob Psycho and Vinland Saga, once again, are winning based more on popularity than quality.

Just so you know, since YOU brought it up Yu yu hakusho is a FANTASTIC anime and if you're loving HxH I'm quite certain yall will enjoy yu yu as well! I have been asking for it anyway, but now you mention it specifically...my requests will definitely continue!!! 🤣🤣
