Yeah Don't think its been cleared up whether the INT stat impacts his intelligence. We can say that it doesn't appear to but Jinwoo changes so much that its hard to tell. Often In anime the INT stat doesn't make someone smarter in the normal sense but often gives them faster processing speed. So it wouldn't surprise me if he can process information faster with it. But yeah don't think it'll suddenly make him a tactical genius or a genius chess player but it may help him think faster in bad situations. Again though I don't think any source material fully explain the stat effects. And to avoid spoilers I don't want to discuss the system further.

in games the int stat does only affect magic ability and mana but i wouldn't say for sure that it doesn't affect jin woo's actual intellect. i am pretty sure they don't mention if it dose or doesn't (including the manhwa and LN)

BTW something to clarify about Jinwoo's power. The intellect stat he has does not impact his intelligence AT ALL. I remember in the past you guys thought it was for intelligence. Intellect stat is for mana only. The show should have explained that better like the manhwa. But this is why when he realized he could get summons at the end of S1, Jinwoo thought he should have been leveling his intellect more, because he needs a significant amount of mana to continue summoning his shadows. Just wanted to help clarify that :)

Basically if I was in a zombie apocalypse with a machine gun and a huge horde was attacking me I can easily mow down hundreds but I’ll eventually run out of bullets but if I had a bunch of people backing me up we can take them all down before I run out of bullets Also while the ants evolved to be stronger they mainly focused on flight since they were running low on food

_Things that they did differently this raid _Have better equipment (raided from A dungeons) _Have more Hunters (11 more s-rank hunters, that's over 200% more than last time) _More Intel (ants are attacking the most powerful ones first) _Distracting like 80% of all ants with the Japanese hunters _better technology (the radars, the signal jammer which makes it impossible for the ant Queen to communicate with the rest and call them back. In the last raid there were 5 s ranks and a couple a ranks. Without the diversion tactic those 5 s ranks would have to fight 90% of the ants. At that point it's a numbers game/ war of attrition and the ultimate weapon probably ran out of mana somewhere and most of them aren't AOE hunters. They said when they left the lastrraid, there were still over 4000 ants left, and a s rank died when they decided to retreat. While he is the ultimate weapon he is still a mage who needs somewhat protection to cast and he said before he wouldn't be able to raid an A dungeon alone. And while they are not leveling up like our mc they still gain new skills, experience, etc. It seems like they never even made it this far either. This seems like the first time they dropped in from above, skipping the fodder outside and preserving mana. Imagine this raid with less Intel, without hunter Cha, ten times more ants attacking, worse equipment and armor, less experience, etc.

I look at it as maybe it was a stamina issue, not a power issue when it was just the Koreans there. Just too many ants, but it's just a guess.

Yeah...this was basically what I was getting at with a comment on an earlier episode. The ants were already a problem before they had the changes. So sure, you got a lot more S Ranks, but now the ants are more powerful. Now we got the super ant...and it was clear that they were setting this up that jinwoo will HAVE to get involved in this raid at some point. Question is, just HOW fucked will the raid team get before he intervene (I get this feeling that one healer who came back from retirement might be among the unfortunate ones before he shows up. Guess we'll see)

It was an a rank hunter who grew back a limb. But yeah even then she had to have direct contact for it to work. And that wimpy berserk hunter from Japan is an s rank but had a case of aforementioned wimpiness

Last time was just the Korean hunters, that's why they had such a hard time. Jeju Island is in Korea and since the ants were contained to the island and therefore not a threat to Japan, the Japanese hunters just said "not our problem". Hunter Cha is also a more recent addition.

I don’t think they underestimated the bugs, they have a solid plan, but this new ant is an anomaly. I bet the queen was really sitting on this one ant for awhile to get it this strong, but this is a MASSIVE leap in power. There is a big difference with ants not having wings then a few years later having wings, compared too the white elite ants that are tough but an S rank can take it down pretty handily to a black ant that moves fast enough to speed blitz 3 hunters, with 2 only reacting once the blood was spilt.
