For a pure-evil villain like All For One (and he is GREAT at it), there's a surprising amount of nuance to him when you stop and break things down.

You guys should DEFINITELY pick My Hero Academia Vigilantes to replace Frieren on Fridays. MHA is arguably the most entertaining and engaging reaction on the channel, and it's been great to be back in the universe with Vigilantes. We need our My Hero fix while we wait for the final season.

The final fight was insane. How are they going to top this with the normal series finale? It's also a bit weird to see these insanely powerful villains... Dark All Might here seemed SO MUCH stronger than Shigaraki/AFO. I really hope the real finale of the series will not disappoint.

The X-Men the Last Stand callout from Kenny was really apt given the parallels you can draw between Anna and Rogue. One of the flashbacks to All For One shows that while he is a monster, he also took Quirks from people who came to him because they didn't want them, and while obviously for most of the people that would want to get rid of their Quirk are probably heteromorphs who are sick of discrimination and the better solution for them would be "reform society and end racism," a lot of people are going to have Quirks like Anna's that are impossible to control, dangerous to anyone around them, and extremely harmful to their wielders, *especially* as you start really approaching the Quirk Singularity. Anyway, this is me saying I hope when Eri's grown up and has mastered of her Quirk, she'll be able to use it to help people like Anna and remove theirs.

Deku having enough of a reputation that villains see he's coming and are immediately like "oh shit" makes him feel like he's approaching that Symbol status while also giving the Batman/Spider-Man energy he's embodied at different times, I love it.

What threw me off was him calling everyone by their actual names. He's come a long way from the guy who needed to ask what his own classmates' quirks were in the Sports Festival.

I mean that's the idea behind Endeavor's character. He's an incredibly cool, incredibly good hero and a shit person, and his entire character arc is him facing that he's a shit person and trying to do better.

While All For One would probably enjoy Dark Might for his bastardization of All Might, I feel like Stain would absolutely LOATHE him for it. 😡 There's an interaction I'd wanna see.

Possible hot take: that movie was kinda meh story wise. 🤣😅🤷 Animation was bonkers though Fun movie, overall. But other than the final fight, there never seemed to be much a struggle in the combat and a lot of the fights felt super quick/rushed (which maybe is supposed to be an indicator for how strong the class has gotten, but there just wasn't much suspense)

Bro Deku was absolutely on point in this movie. Deku took this imitation and mockery of All Might even more serious than All For One lmao. Dude basically killed that villain if you think about it. You think about the symbolism of Deku being a bullet through the statue head of All Whack..... I mean All Might. I know it doesn't happen all that often but you gotta think Deku just killed that man for mocking all might lol

Love him or hate him, Endeavor is very cool. I love his move set, more than Allmight's I'd say. To me, he's earned being no. 1. Sorry, I've wanted to say that for a while. (Because I know someone might think it, no, I'm not excusing his horrible actions)

Finally watched the whole thing! Gotta say, I’m loving the enthusiasm during that final fight. Midoriya, Shoto, and Bakugo all admiring All Might and taking on someone who uses his image for evil is wholesome in the most badass way possible.

I get absolutely _giddy_ when I see Bakugo's Leadership skills. It shows time and again tat he isn't just some punk who was high on his own power. Bakugo absolutely has the stuff to become an _exceptional_ hero, he just needs to deal with some of his issues first.

Out of the movie original characters, I would probably call Rody from World Heroes Mission arguably the most well-written. And while Melissa from Two Heroes is still probably my favorite, I was definitely most invested in Julio and Anna's story. ❤️

The opening song being "Homunculus" is only the FIRST of the Fullmetal Alchemist aspects in this movie. Dark Might's Quirk is literally Alchemy; he makes Overhaul look like a joke.

This was the only My Hero movie I'd seen in theaters. I remember it came out back in October, the same weekend as the season seven finale aired, and my brother had only watched up to Aoyama's reveal, roughly when this movie takes place. So we went and watched this movie, loved it, and then binged season seven, ending with a fresh reaction for the final episode.
