Just to clarify in case you didn’t fully understand what the priest was talking about. The reason he says ragnars love is discrimination is because he’s comparing it to the Godly love known as agape, which is unconditional for all humans, whereas the love humans give is usually dependent on our relationship to that person. With this in mind, why do you think this conversation was able to trigger something so strongly in Canute?
