Some art for my DND game!
🕑 Added 2025-08-03 05:28:57 +0000 UTCTurns out my groomsmen LOVED session 1 and we have had a session every Tuesday for the last 3 weeks! Session 4 is this coming week, and here’s some art of a Draugr Overlord, a Frost Troll, and one of my players, a Dragonborn (the species not the title) without a name, trained by the Greybeards to control his mighty Thuum. His parents sent him to the Greybeards from Akavir as he was too unwieldy with the Thuum resulting in never getting a name (he goes by unknown) or being able to speak normal words, but years later in the next session or so the group will learn the aldmeri dominion has killed all of the Dragonborn of Akavir, and in doing so took this player as a baby and lies to the Greybeards, all of this a plan to later use the last dragons fire for themselves to melt an enchanted ice around a special crystal in the snow tower at the throat of the world (it’s important to thier plan). Basically long story short is my player will unlock this stone mid boss fight after Paarthunox is killed and he will enter the “Akavir” state, calling on all the knowledge of Paarthurnox and his ancestors to channel every single type of dragon, basically entering the avatar state, as he is a way of the 4 elements monk! I then will give him his name: “Akavir, the Last Dragon,” and explain a homebrew avatar form he will unlock. This picture is of that moment and I’ll send to the group mid game!
Long story short, this campaign is here to stay, and I’m having the BEST time being a GM! Let me know if you guys want session recaps or anything!

Art is awesome and the planned story arc is too!! I would be so excited if it was me playing through that so I’m sure they will love it too! It would be awesome if you could update us with the rest of the forms for the other players you have planned and stuff. 😊

Pretty awesome art kenny! Is this the same campaign you mentioned where people are being sent into an alternate dimension (in reference to greed island) ??? Random question...have yall seen the new trailer for demon slayer: infinity castle pt 1? They have the dub version out now...I may take my ass to the theater to see it first though!!!

Yep got a cool form for them all! Basically the whole game is about finding their stone they attune to. Also this currently costs 2 exhaustion points to even use, but with training the drawbacks can be mitigated

This sounds awesome but may I ask if you’re planning on epic homebrew forms for all your players? Just make sure the balance isn’t out of wack especially for your first dnd game as I can assure you in my first games I ran I gave out wacky homebrew that really bit me in the butt later down the line. Homebrewing is very risky business for first time GM’s but regardless I hope you have fun
