In Kafka’s vision where his fear of losing control is shown, Vice Captain Hoshina is notably absent amongst the bodies he sees. Do you think that’s because he can’t see himself beating Hoshina? Or is it maybe because he doesn’t see himself being as close to Hoshina as the other members?
