I swear if I ever have the power, I'd purchase offcanny only to produce a pilot that'll never be shown and keep it in development hell while I make another show with similarities to offcanny but with a cast that's always changing every season.

That sucks mines the opposite where my teachers show the class how to operate all this crazy insanely expensive equipment. But the school I go to for it the entertainment art program is one of there biggest degrees they offer there, since it’s all one of the best in the us. Therefore the teachers are really qualified and they have the money for the crazy equipment.

Rant ahead but I’m in film school right now and I really thought they’d teach me how to use the equipment and everything and so far I’ve had professors that don’t know jack shit and assume everyone’s had experience filming, using the equipment, etc. I feel so bad when I’m working with people who actually know what they’re doing and I have no idea what’s going on. Hopefully my classes next semester will help😬
