What do you think the show is saying by introducing the perspective of a man stripped of freedom, right after a season that glorified warriors who were “free” to kill and raid?

FYI while many key animators were replaced, despite MAPPA taking over, many leading staff members, including the director, character designer, and composer, returned for the second season. AoT staff had much more of a change.

Just like with Attack on Titan season four, MAPPA took over animating season two of Vinland Saga after Wit Studio worked on it initially. Did you notice any change in the animation or character design like there was between AoT's previous seasons and it's final one?
