Erin

Really hope you guys check out the Mighty Nein. It’s really awesome :)

Amber Alkire

You guys definitely should watch the table to show compilations and see the moments during the actual sessions. 10/10

That Guy

oh for sure

Robert Bonfante

It's a late reply, but I found these reactions to be a guilty pleasure and I knew that Lett's React would love this show. I can't wait until you guys continue with the show when seasons 4 and 5 come out.

mastertater

It's pretty good so far

Vince92

RWBY needs to be added to the mix soon!!!

HBelmont 24

Judging by the season four teaser, I'm guessing the time skip is present.

Dee Cee

Mighty Nein????????

dannydarko27

Idk if the show will do this but there was a time skip after the Chroma Conclave arc

Tristan Ramsey

You should watch Sword art online

HBelmont 24

(sigh) At least it's only eight episodes. Letts get this over with.

Kacchan BakuGOAT

Excited for hazbin. Patrick Stump from fallout boy is among the cast this season.

dannydarko27

If I remember correctly they actually prevented Raishan from completing the ritual so this fight was way different. From what I can gather Raishan did not use disintegration just blue flame, but Keyleth left behind that body that crumbled when she first transformed. Percy can also be heard screaming from the gune in the previous episode

Alayna Petty

I know it’s not on the board for new shows but you guys should watch a trailer for Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts! It’s very she-ra coded and glimmers VA is the main character!

HBelmont 24

Keyleth was DIRTY for that one. 🀣

cryptc

Yeah, I was going to post about this too. That although they started the rite for bringing him back, we could very easily had a bittersweet ending there with freeing Percy's soul and still have him leave for the afterlife instead. Basically Taliesin felt Percy had completed his arc and had no true motivation to be pulled back from the afterlife. But it was Laura/Vex speech that convinced Taliesin that Percy would come back. Because if the spirit is not willing to return to life, it doesn't matter how well they rolled on those rolls Matt has them do. So the show having Vex' speech pull him out of it was actually pretty accurate to how it was in the game.

Big K

I gotta say, I hate raishaun as much as the next guy but reupholstering her sickness when that was all she was working against is lowk so mean

kristianc00

Wasn't this also around the time san regael (scanlands VA) was sick and going through surgery so they didn't want to end that on. A bad note

HBelmont 24

In a way, Keyleth has the highest dragon kill count in Vox Machina. πŸƒ πŸ‰ ☠️ While defeating every member of the Chroma Conclave was a team effort, if we go by who dealt the killing blow: Grog > Brimscythe [+1] Scanlan > Umbrasyl [+1] Vex + Keyleth > Vorugal [+1] (half credit) Pike + Vax > Thordak [+1] (half credit) Keyleth > Raishan [+2] (killed her twice)

HBelmont 24

I'm hoping for them to maybe do a Christmas movie reaction next week. (My money's on Klaus. It's SUCH a great movie.)

Suplee215

The raishan and keyleth beef is more because Raishan disguised herself as a fire ashari and hid among them before betraying them to release Thordak. That and Keyleth was more in the side of being as moral as possible while Percy was comfortable making a deal with a devil. And a demon. And a dragon. And some other things. Led to a very interesting friendship between the 2 but also they butt heads a lot.

30:07 - Yeah they weren't sure they'd get another season, because initially it was only funded for 3 seasons, so they wanted to end on a point that seemed satisfying enough if they didn't get more. But they did. Vox Machina is officially confirmed for 5 seasons total, covering the rest of the campaign, and will end according to the wishes of the creators, which is more than most shows can say, with the prevalence of cancellations nowadays, it's kinda refreshing to see a show get a proper conclusion. Helps that Vox Machina was massively successful, and the Mighty Nein seems to be even more successful, so Critical Role seems to have a bright future ahead.

HBelmont 24

Vax proclaiming he loves Percy too and calling him, "brother" was so sweet. ☺️ Also, Trinket's attitude towards Percy has done a full 180. From being hostile towards him getting closer to Vex to helping him walk is so nice. 🐻

wanira 11

A bittersweet fact: Sam Riegel (Scanlan's va) recieved the diagnosis for throath cancer during the making of season 3 of vox machina. The last song you hear in this episode was recorded the day before he had an operation planned, changing his voice forever. Luckily Sam recovered and is doing really well now, but his voice is slightly different now. Makes listening to this song more emotional with the context

wanira 11

Taliesin (Percy's va) didn't want to bring back Percy if there wasn't a good reason for it, but as the game went on after a few lucky rolls + Vex's confession he decided to bring Percy back, because after such a love declaration, how could he not?

HBelmont 24

That sounds about right πŸ˜…

StorytellerDave

Minxie is the name you were thinking of. The sabertooth tiger form

Suplee215

The order kf thisnseason was changed a lot from tbe campaign for dramatic reasons. Percy actually died before Vex opened up the door THAT way. They went after the vestige Ripley had and another one that isnt in the show she was going after amd had an epic battle. Percy died right before Ripley did and then every character attacked Ripley together for the killing blow. During the resurrection ritual Vex confessed her love and then there another couple episodes before they finally have a talk about their feelings as they were busy. And taliesin was totally ready to have Percy stay dead and not return. Until vex said she loves him and needed him. Making the "do youbwant to talk now or later" moment the beginning and not the end of the "will they wont they" drama was a great choice thohgh.

AyCee

I hope you guys will watch The Mighty Nein cause its going to be GOOD, it takes place in another Continent than Vox Machina

StorytellerDave

Oh yeah ya'll really need to check out the Mighty Nein bc it's INSANELY good, exceptional animation, incredible music and gosh they freaking nailed the characters. Magic never looked this good, it's so cool.

SPARKLE

with this show being over for now and with s2 of HH coming next monday, can we expect any new movie reactions in the following months? Mostly asking because i love your current content and would like to see more longer form content (if youre willing and have time and energy for it ofc)

HBelmont 24

Castlevania NEEDS to come after Hazbin s2. It's SUCH a masterpiece of animation, characters, story, and adaptation.

StorytellerDave

We'll get Mighty Mondays soon enough XD

StorytellerDave

They say at the start that it's probably the next one after Hazbin

wanira 11

Will you guys do a table to screen reaction? Would love to see your reaction to that :)

wanira 11

Yess it's fantastic

Suplee215

While they dont actually face an undead version of Raishan in the campaign (they stopped her from performing the ritual) there are stat block templates for turning a dragon into a dracolich which tbis is. Yes, a dracolich. Thats exactly what it sounds like. Raishan in campaign was just an ancient green dragon with 9th level spells... yes thats the weaker version

Ian Cody

Will you watch The Mighty Nein?

Mitty

You guys have GOT to watch Mighty Nein! It’s SO GOOD

HBelmont 24

First! So long, Vox Machina Mondays. πŸ₯²
