While All Might didnt give Bakogo his power, he kinda did. The suit is the only thing he had that gave him the power to fight. Giving it to Bakogo is symbolically showing the same faith and trust in him to carry on the fight as giving Deku powers did.

One thing about One for All I think is he grew up on the streets. It seems like his mother was down on her luck and ended up giving birth on the streets. She also had a quirk before the glowing baby existed so most likely that contributed to her situation and isolation. A glowing baby is much better PR than a s worker for any movement for equal rights. But yea All for one grew up on the streets with no parents and no idea just trying to survive. By the time a personality forms hes going be comoletely messed up morally with the amount of power he has. I think if the mother was able to be in a hospital during her pregnancy when issues arose not only is it possible she survive due to yhe extra care but even if she doenst the children are better look after not facing the lack of nutrients ajd has people to raise them and teach them better. All for one could still turn out a villain but I cant blame a baby for trying to survive.

I just want to point out how well Bakugo's mom Mitsuki has aged; she looks the exact same 16 years later as she did when she first gave birth to her son.

Honestly kinda reminds me of gentle criminal he wanted everyone to remember his name and know who he is/ was and all for one just took it to an extreme and with gentle all for one didn't have a deku, what if you think about it, dekus been changing everyone prospective for good and all for one never got to but he never looked for it either he was selfish for selfishness

I hate/love how all for one calls bakugo an extra when bakugos been saying that the whole series and ends up saying to all for one to shut the H*** up and to get wrecked lol like just crazy and definitely didn't effect bakugo because he knows how it is when someone belittles someone the growth all for one didn't have.

I think all for one was taking as much nourishment to be healthy looking more than the younger brother because he wanted it all for himself hints why the younger brother was weak. So it looked like he was eating his mother but he got so much milk in this case that it made her bleed and die

All For One rewinding into a pissy teenager for a final fight against Bakugo is just such brilliant, full circle storytelling. I finally feel like this series is getting the praise it deserves, but honestly it still deserves even more.

Them giving Bakugo the United States of Smash impact frames was an absolutely perfect way to watch to end All for One. This was my favorite part of the endgame parts of the manga 🙌🏾

I would love to see a prequel to MHA when meta powers first arrivied. I think it would have to be a lot darker and it doesn't need to follow all for one, just showing normal humans reactions to this sudden change and the war that started.

Bakugo's growth is insane. From "I'll do everything by my own, to rememebering all the times he recieved help and wasn't left alone, acknowledging that, no. He would never have made it here on his own. he _needs_ other people to stand beside him. That is what makes him strong enough to beat the worst villain in history.

It really isn't that hard to understand. The glowing baby was the first "well known" and "documented" and it was just that he had a glowing quirk. People saw that and he was one of the first quirks and it amassed a following as if it were a God because before people knew all about quirks seeing a glowing baby is gonna make people think its some kind of special being or a God in some way. All for one said that a country like India had quirks appearing right before the glowing baby but they just weren't as well known and so widespread so quickly. All for one hated that the glowing baby was able to gain such a following so quickly and people thought it was special so he killed it and took the quirk for himself.

Also, AFO wasn’t eating his mother, he dragged himself to breastfeed from her but if you look closely, he’s using her quirk (the spikes) from his mouth to latch on. It’s showing that he really did have to TAKE to survive because nothing was given to him.

Interesting but the lady stopping to reach out to AFO’s mother is an anime-only scene, so not sure how woven that is into his character’s writing. In the manga she was a sex worker who didn’t even know she was pregnant. I gathered that AFO’s character is a result of him having to take from birth because nobody gave him anything. He literally had to drag himself to breastfeed from his dead mother, nothing was given to him, he had no choice but to take to survive.

About the All Might/AFO flashback: I thought the anime was gonna do more with showing their first fight. In the manga, all the other users of OFA got their own panels, depicting what was shown onscreen. All Might, on the other hand, got an ENTIRE PAGE. I thought that scene would've been at least a bit longer and have audio, but it was framed like all the rest, unlike how it was shown in the manga. Still a cool scene. 🫟🤛🏼

So All for One got the way he did because he was raised exclusively by his quirk giving him the urge to take for himself, and the comics he read which gave him a person to relate to, which was the villain. Honestly, that makes total sense but it’s all weirdly sad. Oh yeah also Bakugo is awesome.

Just two things to add: the anime added in AFO naming Yoichi as an adult. In the manga it never specifies when he gave him the name. And second, the anime doesn’t say it for some reason but Yoichi was with Kudo for 2 months before AFO tracked him down & killed him. The anime makes it seem like it happened right after Yoichi was rescued & Kudo was crying over a dude he just met 😅

It’s ironic that the core results of AFO personality and quirk. His absence of being “seen”. Stems from his mother decided not to accept the hand that reach out to her. AFO twisted persona from not being noticed in his formative years. Comes from that.

Thank you for answering my question! Afo's psychology is one of the most interesting things in the show for me. He's literally a baby who never grew up from his base needs and wants, and slowly unpacking that throughout the show is down so well
