I am just obsessed with the opening. The blue petal representing Himmel, the yellow and white shortly thereafter representing Eisen and Heiter. Then the purple and red that fall in as she clutches them tight.

Stark's axe reminds me of a halbred. Heavily stylized and in the exact form the spike probably isnt practical but not that unrealistic.

Frieren's animation is genuinely SO stellar; I genuinely can't believe that it shares the same animation studio as Hunter x Hunter and Death Note. That's not even saying those shows don't also look great, just that they're all SO different from each other.

The axe is incredibly impractical but the closest thing is a bearded axe would have an extra section to drop down almost like that spike used to grab the top of a shield or possibly a weapon

That spike on his axe would be pretty practical. Idk if he actually uses it this way but it makes it so that he could thrust like a spear.

Not to mention him being there would've made things less tense, so Frieren never would've brought it up.

I feel like sein subltely has such a presence here. Theres the mention that stark was saved by sein when he was bitten by a snake, him being refrenced by stark, and we see the pouch he gave fern among the gifts she has. Arghh i miss him so much, he wouldve helped sorting out the tension between stark and fern too lol
