guys you should consider Movie 43, just for the polarizing factor.

Stricks me more of an Andromeda. But I liked Andromeda so, eh.

Perfect. I needed my Movie Club fix.

The character is Koko the Clown, an old animation character by Max Fleischer. I believe he appeared in some Betty Boop cartoons, but may have just been a stand-alone character.

does anyone know where Derrick's blue shirt/sweater is from?

I also never picked up on Tony Shaloub’s character being stoned out of his gourd the entire movie too but that + him being totally nonchalant about literally everything was the funniest thing to me last time I watched it

I rewatched this relatively recently and was blown away by how well it held up. I think this movie and the Toy Story movies are the only movies Tim Allen is good in (though, at least in the case of Galaxy Quest, Tim is good in it the same way mark wahlberg is great in boogie nights — because he’s already kind of a dick)
