I know I'm commenting this a long time after release, but the multiplayer on this has all of your favorite multiplayer game formats from the Gamecube one. Go to the Variety Pack mode and they have the 4 lives game, balloon pop, turn-based territory and a co-op versus as well. I've been a massive fan of the gamecube version and played it with friends for years. First one to match that one in multiplayer imo.

The idea with this game is that you're supposed to play through the story to unlock all the characters, and after the credits you get multiplayer, color swapping and skins, weekly challenges, and a gachapon gift giving system, the last of which makes this reminiscent of Work Time Fun for PSP.
