Version 0.81.2 (stability) Release
🕑 Added 2019-08-26 19:33:05 +0000 UTCDue to the recent increase of supporters, the number of different systems running Kronos has increased, which is great! It also means there are more players encountering bugs or random issues.
Based on the feedback since the last major release a couple of days ago, we've been able to improve the stability of the game significantly! If you were having problems before, try copying the files from the patch below into your Kronos game directory (also choose to copy over the files).
0.81.2 (stability update)
- Special Note
- This version is incompatible with any prior save file. If you patch an older version of the game, your save progress will be wiped.
- Changes
- The Kronos token on the map has been changed to reflect the player’s Patreon support tier level. All players start with the default hero token until they activate their Patreon support perks (for levels 2 and up).
- Some performance improvements on the map.
- Bugs fixed
- The save file system has been completely revised. This should drastically reduce the number of crashes.
- Fixed game locking up upon defeating an enemy.
- Fixed bug where enemies sometimes wouldn’t disappear from the map after defeating them.
- Corrected some scripting errors causing crashes during dialogue.

I'm SO sorry, Aethus. I just checked and saw that your email had not been added. It should work now.
No crashes yet for me, but have been unable to unlock benefits. Been about 3 days now, no luck. Any advice?

Since I'm doing the same battles over and over again to get money I tend to always go click click click fast in the text screens. And yes, the crashes usually happen when it's supposed to load a new image. After starting the game again the part where I got the crash always works fine and the next crash will happen somewhere else.

Thank you for letting me know, Zalmienen. I'll be working on an additional stability patch hopefully by the end of the week. The save file restructuring was just what the game needed to fix some of the freezing glitches. If you are able to keep track of which moments the crashes occur, it can help me narrow it down. For example, are you doing any of the following when the crashes occur: clicking quickly to advance dialogue fast, clicking on dialogue response options, when a new scene image is appearing (or is supposed to be appearing?)

Good news: no more freezing and the defeated enemies now get properly removed from the map. Bad news: the game still keeps randomly crashing . The crashes always happen in different places and usually after some playing for some time.
