You can go outside at night, maxed social link personas get op abilities, fast forwarding cutscenes, skill cards, Rise is op, everyone is op. The earlier bosses are rebalanced so they're actually fun to fight. There's also an extra ending which acts as an extended epilogue. The superboss is also harder.

What's the difference between P4 and P4G? Just Marie, the scooter, and gardening? So far, everything is identical story wise. I played the original P4.
