For: Covet, D-Series, Moonhawk, Bastion, Grand Marshal, Barstow, 200BX, Roamer, Vivace, Bolide, Scintilla & Sunburst
How-to:
-Find it in the towhitch or additional modification slot(depending on vehicle)
Controls:
Left Thumbstick: Deploy/retract chute(rebindable)
U: Deploy/retract chute(rebindable)
Drag coef can be changed in the tuning menu, you may need to reduce it with crazy trap speeds.

is there a way to maybe put the chute in mod cars? the chute is nice, i just feel like it'd be nicer if it was included for every if not most cars.

I would love to see this mod updated and added to more cars! One of my all time favorite mods and my new BX needs a chute lol

Is there any way to change the position it mounts in? As it it, the packed chute is only connected to the car by the cables or whatever that is and is pretty far away from the car

You can make it bigger by editing the jbeam, look in the hydros section :)

Yea you're right. The Pro Wheelie Bar I run uses the towhitch slot too so I guess it is specific to my use case.

The wheelie bar is a seperate slot, so I see no reason why you can't run both :)

Sadly that still wouldn't work, as each vehicle has unique nodes etc. So each vehicle needs to be defined where it would attach

If you can't find it, it is in the tow hitch slot or the additional modification tab, if it's not deploying you have to set a key bind under vehicle specific and it should be drouge chute

The chute works great! One little nitpick detail though... it appears the total weight of the chute/mount is about 95 Lbs (~43Kg) which is much heavier than a typical setup would weigh. A single chute should weigh anywhere from 8-13 Lbs and the mount should weigh no more than 20 Lbs. Could you please update the weight of it to be a bit more accurate? My biggest reason being that with the chute mounted, I am having to pull so much power out of my cars to keep the front wheels down now LOL. Love your mods!!

It's under controls > vehicle specific > deploy chute :) could potentially be a mod conflict though, someone mentioned deleting the BeamMP folder and that fixed it

the Chutes still don't work for me what is the bind in the control settings ive already checked what version i had

hell yeah! glad to hear. So funny, I hadnt checked the patreon till today and saw that the chute had finally been released amost two weeks ago and then it gets updated 4 hours after I start using it lol. love the convenient timing

Man this thing is awesome. game changer for sure. Putting in my vote for scintilla, bolide, and vivace as next vehicles to support. ive got a bonivile scintilla that could use some assistance slowwing down from 350mph lol

ive searched thru most of the bindings and couldnt find anything, what is the binding called?

For everyone saying the bind does not work. The latest Beam update has pretty much wiped some of the bindings but hasn't deleted the key from the bind. Just manually go back and reset it (delete key and rebind) and it will work.

Usually a mod conflict of some sort, another member mentioned BeamMP was causing it, maybe delete or update that first :)
