License is in the same folder, newly downloaded from email and everything. and OCCT won't load or recognize it is there.

Fraud prevention is the reason it takes time to process the transaction. I agree entirely with OCBASE's opinion - it's more important to offer offline licenses than it is to try and validate them at runtime.

OCCT has to run in air gapped environments (fail safe mode etc) - i don't see myself imposing being online to everyone to save for a 20 min wait. Charging directly users means issuing them invoices and doing VAT myself. My accountant was going crazy with that many invoices (i was doing it before). And yes, Patreon checks the payments and gives the green light - i am waiting for that green light to happen before sending the license. Going faster is a matter between Patreon and their payment providers. Patreon notified me your payment was accepted, and it took my backend a whooping 0.827s before sending the email and doing all necessary stuff. Frankly, I'm stuck here :(

I meant you could do a check on launch for invalid licenses only, that would be a small obstacle at best but would help you with this. Why don't you just sell licenses on the website? You could have a cheaper price without the Patreon fee and advertise the instant delivery as well. I find it tricky to believe that Patreon takes this long to process payments, I got charged immediately when I subscribed and received access to all the content within here, it sounds like it's an issue with just their api if so. also, does Patreon not do checks on payment methods? I'd expect them to reimburse you if a license was issued with no payment provided.

This won't happen - it would mean forcing users to be online to use the app, which isn't realistically feasible. I mean, i don't see myself forcing everyone to be online just to avoid a 20min wait when purchasing a license.

If this can be done immediately it sounds like a solution, what you need is a way to terminate these licenses if they are unpaid for.

I'm sorry you find Patreon too slow. It's not something I have control on sadly. A few weeks ago, I was giving out licenses without waiting for payment confirmation. People started abusing the system using fake credit card and getting their licenses for free. I checked and your license was duly sent 8 minutes after you posted this

Joined over 20 minutes ago and still can't download the license file, I am logged in via patreon on the website, I've tried multiple browsers, it should not take this long. I want to run an overnight stress test and am ready to go to bed, won't be subscribing again.

Imagine paying to get rid of 10 sec wait time, only to find out getting the license to work is a PITA. I don't mind paying for software, but could you guys please find a way to make the process like 10 times less frustrating. The popups are still not gone and the screenshots in this guide don't match my experience. There is no download license button. The website has a "upload license" page but i've no clue what to update there. I've no clue how to activate the license and I don't really care anymore. I'd like a refund.

Hey thanks for the update. Normally running that many test would be unnecessary but I'm getting a bsod that either has to do with driver issue or failing memory I think. So being able to test the entire system at once was what I was hoping to do, all good I'll just individually run the tests and see if I get any errors. Thanks!

Hi Brad, You are right, system stability certificate are coming with v12. This text should be updated, as I decided mid way to push that feature back, sorry. I'll change it right now. Chaining test is possible but with the enterprise license. However, for a single computer, you shoudn't have to run that many tests that not having this feature will prevent you from using OCCT :) Edit : silly enter key

Use the top-level tabs to choose" - I signed up for the license to do a stability certificate to test all the components of my system but all it says under that category in that app is that "system" and "gpu" are in the works, but didn't say anything about that on the webpage?? Might be something to update on the subscription page. In the meantime is it possible to build out a test schedule so I can test all systems? I'm running into a bsod error but didn't want to take 3 days to keep coming back and setting up the next test. Was hoping to be able to just line up all the tests and leave it run for the night to see if anything came up. Thanks!

Hi, I don't see a license download and got the OCCT Personal can not be used in commercial or professional environments. A Pro or Enterprise license is required, Message instead where the license download option is.

Hi ! Thanks for subbing :) I did give it a shot and it didn't work in Chrome, but worked in Firefox. I'm reporting this bug to Patreon right now. Make sure you select "Login with Patreon" in my website, and in the patreon's auth box, use the "Google" box to login. I hope this helps !
