could you react to "in the kitchen" by Renee Rapp??
not one of the BEST songs on the album but i still really like it. i think what makes it cheesy is probably the voicemail at the end, because the lyrics weren’t really cheesy. the lyrics are just kind of basic but i think thats what makes me like the song, it feels to me as if he doesn’t have to explain their relationship to anyone, hes just saying what it is, and i do have a bestfriend like this so very relatable and sweet.

i gotta say, that song definitely grew on me. I listen to this album way too many times to count and having an upbeat happy song in such a depressing (but amazing) album is truly needed, and i like the idea of artists writing about their friends, it doesn't happen really often imo

Definitely widely agreed to be the least favorite on the album, it’s grown on me since my first listen and I think it’s super fun and I love the message! Just in comparison it’s not as strong as the rest. Really sweet song for his best friend though, he writes about her a lot.
